Question: I don't quite understand the part of the movie regarding the camera recording inside of the bus. It seems obvious they can pick up the signal to the bus via UHF, then tape it, then make the loop so the same tape runs over and over, fooling Dennis Hopper long enough to facilitate the rescue. But how do they transmit the images from the loop back to Hopper's safehouse?

Answer: Payne obviously has some sort of transmitter attached to the camera, feeding the picture back to him. By broadcasting from the much more powerful TV van transmitter on the same frequency, they would effectively swamp the camera signal with their own, so Payne would see their looped tape, rather than the real images from the camera. Although not shown, Jack could also simply have disconnected Payne's camera as soon as the looped tape ran, to prevent the possibility of the real signal getting through and revealing their ruse.

Question: What happened to the Space Marines and Draxites who were fighting outside the space station? We have a great big shootout and then they're not even mentioned or seen when the station explodes. And there's no mention that anyone was recovered afterwards. (Just Jaws and Dolly).

John.G

Chosen answer: One of the Marines is heard to say to return to the shuttle after Bond gets in. The Draxites must have returned to the station.

Grumpy Scot

Answer: There is a very brief scene of the Marines' shuttle undocking from the space station.

Question: How do the people in the film share a dream? I understand that the briefcase contains sedatives to put everyone to sleep, but how do they get inside a certain individuals dream? How do they end up being in the same dream together?

oo0O0oo

Chosen answer: The details are never explained in the depth, but all the dreamers are connected via the briefcase, so it seems likely that the briefcase acts in some way as a networking hub for them to share the dreamspace.

Question: Do we ever find out why the Chinese man in the trunk is naked? I understand that Stu claimed he was his lucky charm, but that doesn't explain why he was naked.

Awesomo

Chosen answer: Presumably being locked in the trunk/boot of a car in the sweltering heat might cause someone to get a tad warm whilst in said trunk/boot.

GalahadFairlight

Answer: Ken Jeong just thought it would be funnier to jump out naked, so he did.

Question: If there are a couple of scenes where Pascal, the chameleon, changed colors not to blend with objects but only due to his emotions. Is it possible for a real chameleon to do, or is it something only Pascal can do? In other words, is it something a chameleon can do only in a cartoon?

Answer: The ability of a number of chameleon species to change colours is generally used a form of social signalling - it's a common misconception that they shift colour in order to blend in with their surroundings. Although some species of chameleon have displayed the ability to use their colour changes as a primitive form of camouflage, most only change in response to social situations or changes in their physical or emotional state. So, yes, it's very possible that Pascal could change colour due to his emotions, in fact, it's really the norm.

Question: When Harry and Hermione are using the time turner, I have two questions about that scene. One: Why can't anyone see them? IS this crucial to their mission? Two: Before they go back in time, we see that they already have (Hermione thinks she saw herself in the tree's.). But this means that there would never be an end to the chain. It's a time paradox.

M0vi3

Chosen answer: They can't be seen to avoid people asking questions. It's generally known where Harry and Hermione were during the course of events, so if somebody later claimed to have spotted them somewhere, people might realise what had really happened, which could cause them problems. As for the paradox, I don't see one - it's a simple course of events. Harry and Hermione live through the chain of events once, including a couple of unknowing interactions with their future selves. They then use the time-turner to travel back and re-experience the events and interactions with themselves again, this time from the alternate perspective. They catch up with the time left departed from and continue onwards. It's pretty straightforward, with no obvious paradox involved.

Question: At the end: Miss Hannigan is seen at the party, but shouldn't she have been arrested along with Lily and Rooster? She was an accomplice to the planning and kidnapping of Annie, so that alone should have got her some sort of punishment.

Answer: Most likely Mr Warbucks had some sway in the outcome of things. Because Mrs Hannigan in the end did try to save her life, and was also assaulted by her own brother when she turned on him, Annie and Mr Warbucks statement probably got the police to let her go. Also it would seem that Punjab liked her. She came around to the right side in the end.

Answer: No charges were pressed against her due to her attempt to protect Annie from Rooster.

Question: Could someone tell me what Borden says to himself about two seconds before he dies? I've seen this movie several times now but I can't make out what he says.

Answer: He whispers "Abracadabra".

Twotall

Question: This just interests me, but why does Miss Hannigan suddenly show concern for Annie when Rooster says he is going to kill her (just after Annie has torn up the cheque)? She never liked any of the orphans anyway, and earlier when Molly overheard the plan, and Rooster says that they are going to drop Annie in the river, Miss Hannigan never said anything.

Answer: She's a selfish woman, malicious even. But she's no killer. Even if she didn't say anything against the plan, when faced with the execution of the actual deed, she couldn't bring herself to allow it. Also, it is suggested throughout the movie that Annie is her favorite. When Grace Ferrell asks for Annie, Miss Hannigan tries desperately to keep her at the orphanage by saying she's 'trouble' when in reality, Miss Hannigan loved Annie.

Question: I could be wrong, since I haven't seen Star Wars in a long time, but wasn't the band at the "redneck" bar playing the song the Cantina Band plays?

Answer: Yes, that's right. Well spotted - your geek credentials remain firmly intact.

Question: What happened to Coral and the rest of the babies?

M0vi3

Chosen answer: They were eaten by the barracuda.

Question: Were Jack and Rose actually married? Because I saw the end and it had a clip of them in front of the Grand Staircase probably getting married.

Peace_Monkey2000

Chosen answer: No. The clip of them at the end of the grand staircase was meant to symbolise Jack and Rose being back together again now that Rose was dead. He was her one true love, and yearned to be back with him.

GalahadFairlight

Chosen answer: "The Great Wife Hope" from Season 21, Episode 3.

Question: At the very end of the film when Angie is dragged, in the background it doesn't look like any figure dragged her? Shouldn't we have seen at least the upper body of a figure grabbing and dragging her? It looks like she was dragged a long way, so why isn't there any evidence of her being dragged by any human figure?

Answer: Purely done for suspense reasons. Seeing the figure of something walking up behind her, grabbing her and dragging her away would have less of a "jump" factor than what happened in the movie, which is her being suddenly dragged away into the darkness.

Manky

Answer: They do not.

Question: When the house is "Broken Into" at the beginning, is it actually the demon or is it broken into? I wasn't sure if this was established in the film. I assume we're led to believe it is the demon as nothing was stolen but wasn't sure.

Awesomo

Chosen answer: It's the demon.

Question: In Revolutions Sati and Seraph are cornered in a room by the Smith army. At one point during the exchange between Seraph and Smith Saraph says "I've fought you before." How can they have fought if the two charters have never met?

Answer: Seraph and the REAL Agent Smith have never met before on screen. That doesn't mean Seraph hadn't encountered Agent Smith at some point before we begin following Neo's story.

Phixius

Question: Why, when Murphy/Robocop goes to his old house where he lived with his family, why are there burnt pictures/books lying around where he picks up the photo from? Surely, although his wife had moved on, she would not be so heartless as to burn all their memories together, even if she didn't want them she surely would have kept them for her son so he could have them to remember his dad.

tattoojunkie

Chosen answer: People do strange things in their grief. She may very well regret burning them for the very reason you suggest.

Phixius

Answer: Besides, it's the future. Just like in real life, she may have had those photos stored digitally.

Question: Harry walks into the goblin lair, and there are two gliders. One of them is the Green Goblin's, but there is one that isn't the sky stick from the 3rd movie. What glider is that?

blonddude207

Chosen answer: Just a prototype Norman brought home from the lab.

Phixius

Question: In the ending scene, how come Jean couldn't control the plane, and stop the flood from the inside? Would've been a whole lot easier.

M0vi3

Chosen answer: Because, as we see earlier in the film, Jean's increasing power levels cause problems with electrical equipment. She has to be clear of the plane for it to fly under its own power. From the outside, she can control it without risking it losing power and crashing into the water below.
