Question: Why was Tom bringing the football team to his house?
Answer: Because he needed a way to coach the team while also watching his kids.
The One Where Ross Hugs Rachel - S6-E2
Question: Right after the lawyer says to Ross, "of course you did," the camera cuts to Ross. If you look closely, you can see something waving in front of the lawyer's mouth. It is either his tongue or finger. It looks funny, like the actor did it on purpose. Also, the hair looks different, like a chunk has been cut out. It is most likely a different actor for that section of the scene. Why was something waiving in front of his mouth?
Answer: While it does look funny, there's no chunk missing, it's just the way his forehead curves and his hair sticks out on top. It's just more noticeable at that one angle. And, it's the same actor. The thing waving is his finger that he's wagging, and it does seem to be because of a continuity error. Shortly after, when Ross says he'll look into the therapy, the lawyer then points his finger and shakes it (as if to non-verbally say "yes, do that"). It is this action that we see the lawyer doing, from behind, even though he doesn't wag his finger until later.
Question: What's the name of the actress that plays Nick's secretary? The only with the Ivy League education and a boyfriend in Israel. Her character's name is never mentioned so I can't use IMDb. She has a passing resemblance to Piper Perabo. I know it's not her.
Answer: The actress is Sarah Paulson who played Annie.

Question: Why was Ripley cloned?
Answer: In Alien 3, Ripley discovers there was an Alien queen embryo growing inside her, so she chose to kill herself. By cloning her, scientist were hoping the Alien queen embryo she had in her at the time of her death would also become cloned, which finally happen after the 8th try. This is also why the Alien queen they extracted from Ripley has some human traits.
Question: Why did Abby and Marcella hold hands for just 2 seconds before walking up to Barney at the end to hug him?
Answer: To show the strength of their friendship and show how much they loved each other, which is what that whole song was about.
Question: While a number of cigarettes show up in the silver streak, none appear to be lit. Am I wrong or was this subtle comedy, or production preference?
Answer: Most likely it was a production decision. Having multiple extra actors continually smoking during multiple takes and over hours of filming would make for a smokey set, affect breathing and burn peoples' eyes, be a fire hazard, and create consistency problems with cigarettes being in various stages of use (freshly lit or almost down to a stub).
Question: Towards the end, we see V say he wants Credie to bring Sutler to him. Before that, he has Finch spy on Credie...why? Just so Credie becomes suspicious of his own party spying on him? Also, why would Credie uphold his end of the bargain and bring Sutler to V? We are given the reason by V that that's the only way he'll be caught but V has no way to verify that Credie would do that and has a lot of reason to doubt it.
Answer: Credie is shown throughout the film to be maneuvering to replace Sutler, and when V gives him (Credie) a seemingly gift-wrapped opportunity to get rid of him (Sutler), he takes it because A) V has convinced him that Sutler is who V really wants dead, not Credie; and B) Credie is confident that whatever V has planned, he and his men with their guns (and their bullets) will be able to kill V after Sutler is dead. V tells Finch to watch Credie because he knows Finch is a good man, and wants to lead him to evidence of how deep the government's corruption goes.
Question: Is there any official explanation on how the toons manifest into physical reality? If Judge Doom were to kill Roger, what's to stop another artist or animator from just creating and willing him into existence again?
Chosen answer: In the world of the film, toons aren't drawn, they actually exist and simply act out what is seen in their cartoons.
In the movie, Jessica Rabbit said she was not bad, she was just drawn that way.
Question: I just watched this movie on Netflix but there was one minor change; in the DVD version at the beginning of the film when Scooby and Shaggy come out of the limo, Shaggy is holding a cup from Burger King, and later in the movie when they're at Wickles Manor, Shaggy complains about why they can never investigate at a Burger King. However, on the Netflix version, the line and cup were changed to KFC instead. Does anyone know why this would be changed? It seems pretty strange.
Answer: The simple answer is money. Although it has to do with film studios and distribution companies releasing American films to the international markets. Because of technology, studios can digitally alter products in the film and can now sell product placement rights more than once. This practice started with "Demolition Man", where in the US, Taco Bell is the only surviving fast food place. But, overseas, the restaurant is Pizza Hut. In "Scooby Doo 2", Burger King purchased the product placement rights for the film along with "right of first refusal." Burger King then decided to just focus on the U.S. plug. Warner Bros. Was free to sell the plug for the international market release, which KFC bought. So the DVD version was the domestic release version and the Netflix version is the international release. But, I do not have an answer to "why is Netflix showing the international release version?", but I'm sure it has to do with cost of purchasing the rights to stream, unless KFC also bought the product placement rights for streaming in all markets.
Question: Why does Edison become Krall? In other words: why does his appearance change? If the tech that keeps him alive changes him, how can he change (most of the way) back? Finally, if he could change back/remain human this whole time, why would he look like he did?
Answer: The energy transference technology Krall used to drain the life of others caused him to gradually begin to look like the species he was draining. After the attack on the Enterprise he drained several human officers and began to look like his former self.
Question: Is it true that J.K. Rowling originally intended for Hermione to have a muggle sister?
Answer: Yes. J.K. Rowling was going to give Hermione a younger sister who was a muggle. However, by the time "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" came out, she felt that it was too late.
Question: Why weren't they given a new whitelighter after Leo became mortal? When he became an elder they got Chris and when the elders suspected Leo of killing Zola they were given a new whitelighter (albeit not for long). Was this just a mistake or was there actually a reason?
Answer: I think also because Paige has started to take on charges and Whitelighter duty as well, they probably thought it would be overkill.
Answer: Given how against getting a new whitelighter they were, it is supposed to be that the elders basically gave up trying to give them new ones.
Question: Why was Mr Mertle a lot more mean in this movie than in the first one?
Answer: In the first movie Benny and company were also making a great deal of noise and Mr. Mertle didn't complain.
Answer: Because it's annoying when you have to hear kids scream and break a window.
Question: At the end of the movie the town clock that was removed from the train station is shown stored in a basement just as the basement floods. The clock is seen to still be working, but how, given that there was no one there to wind it? As the clock was made during the first world war it would be mechanical, not battery powered.
Answer: It is symbolic, showing that time never stops. Everyone will be swept up by the tsunami eventually. No force of nature can compare to time itself. Nothing at all.

Chosen answer: For two reasons, one to be polite and not act suspiciously, if he acted nervous or uncomfortable, the sheriff would be wary of him. Second, so the sheriff would leave quickly in case he had no cash or wanted to pay with a credit card. There were no slide cards back in the 1970's.
