Answer: After which episode are you talking about a wig change? According to Katy Sagal, she didn't start wearing a wig until season 3. The first 3 seasons she would just do her own hair. Once the show became successful is when the show bought her a wig. Any changes to her hair style during the first 3 seasons would be natural. They may have used a couple different wigs later just to keep her hair style changing.

Dial J for Janitor - S1-E38

Question: When Ralph promises he'll fix Norton's pipes tomorrow morning, Norton says, "This is the last night I take a bath in Fred's Gasoline Station." Why wouldn't he have been taking his baths in his best friend Ralph's tub? He had already used their water to "Stretch the Soup." Why not to bathe?

DrLoomis1978

Answer: It is because Fred's gasoline station was a real place that really existed in the town of Tuckahoe New York. This was where Norton, Art Carney, was living at the time. It was a plug for his friend.

kenykop

Answer: Art Carney lived in Tuckahoe NY at this time and Fred's gasoline station really did exist. It was a plug for his friend at home.

Answer: Because going to the gas station for a bath is funnier. This is comedy, funnier trumps making sense.

Noman

It's still a mistake.

DrLoomis1978

Answer: There's no answer. He was probably joking or exaggerating, and, unlike getting water for the soup, bathing in someone else's bathroom is an inconvenience, and it might make Norton self-conscious and it would annoy Ralph. Going to a gas station does sound like something Norton would do.

raywest

Norton self-conscious? No way.

DrLoomis1978

You're overthinking it. It was a silly sitcom from a bygone era.

Question: Why was Kane Hodder disallowed to reprise the role of Jason? I know that director wanted Jason to be taller than Freddy but Kane Hodder is taller than Robert Englund. Thus, if he was hired again, Jason still would have been taller than Freddy.

Answer: This is one of those questions where we'll probably never know the real reason because different people involved have different stories as to why Kirzinger was picked over Holder. Holder himself has said he doesn't know why he didn't reprise the role, especially since he was told he would and was given a script. Some accounts say Yu wanted Jason to tower over Freddy and Kirzinger is 2" taller than Holder. One of the casting directors said Yu thought Holder's version of Jason was too campy. Meanwhile, Yu said it was New Line Cinema's decision to recast Holder because they want to change the direction of the film and used this film as a reboot of the series.

Question: Why didn't Gore Verbinski direct this movie?

Answer: Reportedly, it was a scheduling issue. Verbinski was already committed to working on the animated film, "Rango," when "Stranger Tides" was to be filmed.

Answer: KITT didn't choose to go off the cliff in Goliath Returns, it just happened as he tried to avoid Goliath. Just 'cus it happened, doesn't mean It's gonna cure his fear of "flying"

Question: Even if Turner planned to stage Kale's murder as a suicide, wouldn't the fact that someone who accused a neighbor of being a serial killer, only to turn up dead only hours later make Turner an immediate suspect? I would think that most serial killers wouldn't be dumb enough to risk having the person who accused them to turn up dead in only a few hours no matter if it was staged as a suicide.

Movielover1996

Answer: Being a serial killer, Turner is most likely a transient. When he starts to feel threatened (close to being identified as a suspect) or has committed several murders in one area without getting caught, he will sense the need to move on - relocate with a new identity. At least initially, he can portray himself as a law-abiding "gentleman" to reduce/ eliminate suspicion or buy himself enough time to flee the area and avoid getting caught.

KeyZOid

Answer: Turner might be considered a suspect based on Kale's accusation, but there would have to be solid evidence, for which there was none. More likely, it would probably be theorized that Kale's recent erratic behavior and emotional state is what led to his "suicide" and that he had become fixated on Turner and irrationally fantasized and falsely claimed that he was a serial killer.

Question: If Katherine/Silas are the ones who killed the hunter, that is Jeremy, why aren't they are cursed with the hunter's curse?

Answer: Silas did mention to Bonnie later that he was so powerful he was able to overcome Jeremy's hunter's curse in minutes.

Question: If Lea Thompson wasn't strapped in during a launch, wouldn't she have suffered more than a couple of bruises from her body being wrapped around a steel column and being under 3G+ during the launch scene?

Answer: Not necessarily. The 3 G's pretty well kept her pinned, so she wasn't bouncing around. If someone can fall 18,000 ft out of an airplane with only a sprained leg (one of several examples) then yes it's theoretically possible. If the guy in this story could withstand 42 g's strapped in, the yes Katherine could've survived 3 g's.

Question: How is it that there are winter fairies at the talent choosing ceremony in the first movie, Tinkerbell (2008) when in the fourth movie they state that winter fairies cannot fly in the warm areas?

Answer: I guess the writers hadn't quite figured out the whole universe of the fairies when they made the Tinkerbell movie. Seems easy enough to edit out the fairy placing the snowflake and when Clank and Bobble fly through winter with her. I agree it is a glaring error, and they should fix it.

Question: In the original Avengers movie, after Captain America breaks up the Thor/Iron Man fight, Thor goes to hit Captain America with his hammer, Captain blocks it with his shield and Thor goes flying. In Age of Ultron, they do the same thing intentionally in the opening battle scene, and it flips the tanks and vehicles but Thor is unaffected. Why the difference?

Answer: The first time it was unexpected. After that they realised it was a good military move. The way they did it, they most likely practised and have done it several times before. They said they've been hunting and destroying HYDRA secret bases for three years since the events of the first movie.

Question: Why was Beethoven depicted as an obnoxious, rude and unlikable man in this movie? I read that in the real life he wasn't such a bad person.

Answer: It's a fictional version of Beethoven. Artistic license is used to enhance the drama by embellishing Beethoven's personality, likely to show his anger, frustration, and despondency over becoming deaf. Like many similar biographical movies, it is not meant to be an accurate portrait.

raywest

Answer: It's true. According to director, Nick Cassavetes, the two actors did not get along at all and constantly bickered during filming. Things were so bad that during one scene, Gosling wanted Cassavetes to have another actress read McAdams lines off-screen. Gosling and McAdams later overcame their animosity and dated, though their relationship ended after two years.

Question: I read on Wikipedia that 5 alternative endings were shot for Unfaithful. Does anyone know what they were?

Answer: You can look it up at IMDB.com, List the movie and go to the Trivia or Alternate Versions section. I looked at it and only one different ending was listed.

Question: When Conan is at one of the gatherings wearing a follower's robes, why did another follower attempt to stop Conan from sitting in until Conan showed him the medallion that was the symbol of Set?

Answer: That he was one of Thulsa Doom's entourage, not one of the followers who worship him.

Question: How is it possible that the bullet in Jack's gun was still usable after 10 years?

Answer: He most likely cleaned and reloaded it constantly.

Question: David knew that the guy in the stadium queue had a gun and likely intended to cause disturbance, so why he just let him to walk away? As a security guard, shouldn't he report him at least?

Dangar

Answer: He never saw the gun, only psychically sensed it, and, at that point, he didn't really believe in his powers. He's not going to the police with a vision.

Question: What was the purpose of Samantha at the end saying "she fell" before turning back into the church? It's obvious her sister fell, but Samantha acted all surprised over it.

lartaker1975

Answer: She actually said "The VEIL" after remembering her sister tossing it away (when bugged she couldn't see with it on). Sam simply went back in the church to pick it up.

Answer: Larry had been telling Darrin what it means psychologically that Samantha gave the coat away. Larry said giving it away meant she's happy being married but if she liked the coat it means she desires to be single and carefree. So when Darrin sees the coat, he immediately thinks Samantha doesn't want to be married and the fact that she twitched it means (in his mind) she wants to be a single, carefree witch again.

Bishop73

Answer: I haven't seen the episode, but generally in the show, Darrin was always suspicious that Samantha always used some kind of witchcraft for any situation (even if she didn't). He probably figured the same thing with the coat while in her possession.

You should watch the episodes in question before giving an answer so you know what you're talking about.

Bishop73

Answer: I agree with the other answers. Another possibility is, Rachel was close friends with both Monica and Mindy in high school. Mindy was likely friends with Monica, and therefore invited her to the wedding along with Rachel, knowing they were roommates. Richard has known the Geller and Green families for years and may also know Mindy's parents and was invited separately. He could be Monica's +1, or she his, but even if both were invited separately, they are still attending as a couple. Monica wasn't invited to Rachel and Barry's wedding because the girls had lost touch after high school and Monica moved to NYC.

raywest

Answer: Excellent question, and it's never occurred to me. My best guess would be that Barry/Mindy are aware they're asking a big favour of Rachel and realise it would be an awkward situation for her, so let her invite a friend (Monica) for moral support so there'd be a friendly face there for her.

Jon Sandys

Answer: It's never explained, and the writers probably didn't gave it serious thought, just using their presence at the wedding as a plot device. But since, as you say, Monica was not invited to Rachel's wedding, the most logical explanation is that Richard is the invitee, and Monica is his +1. Richard and Barry are both doctors and so could know one another, or perhaps Richard is friends with Barry's, or Mindy's, parents. If the latter, this would not be unbelievable, as Mindy's parents would likely be in the same circle as the Gellers, with whom Richard is close.

Question: Why would Ike Clanton, who is cowardly when he's unarmed, outnumbered and/or has a gun pointed at him, be allowed to be in the cowboys? Considering the others are fearless even in the face of danger, they should never have let him in.

Answer: Anyone could join the Cowboys if they followed their code of conduct. Ike's brother was a member and there's no reason for him not to be. It's not like it was the Marines who require an ounce of common sense. The Cowboys were hooligans, Ike being one of the dumbest.
