Question: Did Harvey Dent die? I've heard theories that he did die, but I've heard that he didn't die but they told everyone that he did because they didn't want people to know that he became a villain. I was just wondering which one is true.
Answer: According to Aaron Eckhart, he has been told specifically by director Christopher Nolan that Harvey was killed in the fall, so he would not be back in any potential follow-up film.
Question: When Klaatu and Professor Barnhardt are writing on the black board together, are they solving something that we just haven't solved yet, and so answering this question is hopeless, or does anybody know what it is they are supposedly solving, it looks to be something to do with an event horizon.
Answer: As in the original 1951 movie, Professor Barnhardt has an equation on the board that suggests (theorizes) that space travel through inter-dimensional universes is possible. Klaatu solves the mathematical equation thereby proving that, not only is it possible, but that's how he got there. This was brought out in the original movie.
Answer: The equation Klaatu finds on the professor's blackboard is real - an in joke for mathematicians: the "Three Body Problem" seeks to account for all possible relationships among three objects in space (Landon 85).
Not to mention, Reeve's chicken scratch on that board reminds me of an 8th grader. Frankly, they should have CGI'd that bit. For anyone whose spent any time actually doing equations on a chalk board, his sophomoric scribble is hard to watch.
Question: I wanted to ask that, when James had bitten Bella, then the venom/poison was left in Bella's arm and Edward had to suck it out later, but why didn't Edward leave the venom in Bella's arm? They both (James and Edward) sucked Bella's blood and James left venom, but Edward did not. How is that possible?
Question: Was Mulder's beard supposed to have some sort of meaning/symbolism? I know it wasn't a big theme in the movie anyway, but I didn't understand why it was even put into the story at all.
Answer: It shows how Mulder's character has changed since he left the FBI. Previously he was eager, rather obsessive/compulsive, and always well groomed. He's a far different man now--isolated, adrift, and far less concerned with day-to-day matters. This is reflected in his current appearance.
Question: Does anyone know why only the 20th season is available on I-tunes?
Question: In the scene where Batman shows Lucius his giant sonar thing, why is he talking in his big scary voice? Lucius knows who he is, so why does he bother disguising his voice?
Answer: It's habit, and a sensible one at that. When he's in the mask, when he's being Batman, he uses the voice, even if the person he's with knows who he is. If he drops back to his normal voice with some people, it sets the precedent for using it while wearing the cowl, which means that he's more likely to slip up and use it around people who don't know, potentially revealing his true identity. If he sticks rigidly to using the voice when kitted up as Batman, regardless of situation, it minimises that possibility.
Answer: At the bottom of his cowl Batman has devices designed to keep his voice at that level. The director revealed it, of you look at the right screenshots you can see speakers.
Question: When Dooku and Obi-wan are fighting, Dooku says that Yoda holds Obi-wan in such high esteem. But how would he know that if he left the Jedi Order years ago and probably hasn't been talking to Yoda for a while?
Answer: Though not stated in the films, Dooku had been a member of the Jedi Order until sometime after Qui-Gon Jin's death. But probably also after Obi-Wan was given the title of Jedi Knight and Anakin his Padawan by Yoda. So Dooku could very well have known Yoda's feelings of esteem, even if it was years ago.
That whole conversation between Obi-Wan and Dooku is also part of Dooku's fighting style. He was deliberately trying to get into Obi-Wan's head and get at his ego, so as to get him to loose his cool or try something brash in order to "show up" Dooku, etc. He didn't therefore need to actually know if Yoda held Obi-Wan in high esteem, he was just saying it in order to try and goad Obi-Wan into living up that "praise" and thus make a mistake; whether he was telling the truth was irrelevant.
Question: I may have just misunderstood, but when the Russian man talks to the bald man near the end of the movie, he seemed to act as though the brown-haired woman's body was going to be better than the bodies of the other women that had been used before. If so, why was her body more special?
Answer: All of the women's bodies were just temporary. He was telling him that they were going to get him a good permanent body, indicating they would continue to use temporary bodies until they found a good match (presumably male).
Question: After Dooku leaves the fight with Yoda on Geonosis and Padmé arrives, are Obi-wan and Yoda not suspicious about her running to Anakin and hugging and kissing him? Yoda is actually looking in their direction.
Answer: Considering everything that just happened and that Padme has known Anakin since he was a small boy, they probably would not think that much of it other than she is very emotional and is showing concern and relief for an old friend and protector after a particularly stressful situation.
Question: When the asteroid starts breaking up, collisions of rocks make large fiery explosions. What is exploding when rock meets rock - and where does the oxygen for the explosions come from?
Question: Why would the armadillos be equipped with machine guns?
Question: Why would NASA spend weight and expenses on making the cabin of the armadillo pressurised?
Chosen answer: The cabin of the armadillo was always going to be pressurized. A person really can't perform the work needed in a space suit. Therefore, they presurize the cabin.
Question: Quite at the end of the movie, as Gordon and his men are on top of the building opposite the Prewitt building, Batman talks to him and tells him to wait a few minutes. Then Gordon says that he won't wait because the people on the ferries will blow each other up. But why does he know? The Joker just told the people on the ferries. Batman knew as well because he could hear everything going on on the ferries, but he didn't tell Gordon. So from who does he learn this?
Question: In the episode "Indebted", who played the IAB detective who questions Nick? He looks incredibly familiar, but without a name, I can't figure out where I know him.
Chosen answer: "Nick Potter" is played by Jordan Bridges who has done extensive work on television, the details of which can be found at imdb.com, the internet movie database which includes work on television shows as well.
Question: Does anyone know what the song is that's being played when the Pevensies first arrive in Narnia again and are playing on the beach? I recognize that it is in the first movie too around the part when all four first come out of the wardrobe into Narnia.And what was the song played when Reepicheep and his comrades sneak into the castle where the cat is? And how come these aren't on the soundtrack?
Answer: The first part of your question is on the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe soundtrack and I believe that it is called From Western Woods to Beaversdam.
Question: Is there an episode in which someone gets impaled by an icicle? I seem to recall the team not being able to find the murder weapon, and then someone realized that it had melted. This could also be CSI: New York.
Answer: The episode on CSI:NY was called "Love Runs Cold" and first aired on October 4, 2006 (Season 3, Episode 3) and involves the investigation of a model found stabbed to death by an ice dagger.
Question: What exactly is a goathouse and why are there two goats tied up outside it?
Chosen answer: A goathouse is a house for goats! Seriously though, Horses have stables, pigs have stys, goats have 'houses'.

Answer: Here are the "strikes": fixing a leaky roof,while checking the mail, milking the cow, driving his car, minding his own business in a field, taking a dog for a walk, and then at the end there was no "story", but he was by a fence (just before the credits). I believe these are correct.
