Question: To create a lock-down situation in the prison, Michael breaks the AC unit and the doctor later says that it's the hottest April on record. However the beginning of the episode where Lincoln sits in the electric chair and is then let out again (forgot the name of it) shows it snowing pretty heavily. Up to this point the programme has been set within one month so my question is this. Is this meteorologically possible? And if so is it probable to have heavy snowfall in the hottest April on record?

Question: Why do people at first suspect that Harry is lying about Voldemort's return? Didn't they believe that he defeated Voldemort at the end of the first two movies?
Answer: Up until the end of Order of the Phoenix, there was no actual proof that Harry had ever confronted Lord Voldemort. It was only Harry's word and also Dumbledore's. It was only after Fudge and others saw Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic that they were finally convinced. Harry, being a child at the time, had been considered a less than reliable source and was considered by many to be an attention-seeking liar, caught up in his own celebrity as "the boy who lived." Dumbledore had a reputation of being a somewhat-eccentric crackpot who had lost his touch with age. While some found him credible, most simply wanted to believe that Voldemort was dead and would never return. It is typical of how the public reacts to crisis. Until there is definitive and irrefutable proof, they simply will not take a few people's word. Even then, there are still skeptics.
Question: Are Gru's car and plane thingy the same thing? They look alike, but I don't know for sure.
Answer: I don't think so. When Vector steals Gru's shrink ray, he uses it to shrink the plane. This is before Gru meets the girls. He uses his car to drive the girls to Vector's house and then some, while the plane is still shrunk. We know the plane is still shrunk at this point because near the climax of the movie, we see it return to its normal size. So, the car and plane can't be the same thing, since one was its normal size and the other was miniature.
Question: Why did the parents of so many Hogwarts students actually allow them to return to school this year, thinking that Snape murdered Dumbledore (they don't know that Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him) and Voldemort is in control of the place?
Answer: In the books it is actually stated they are required to attend, not optional.
Answer: It is complicated and the movies glossed over much of how Voldemort plotted his gradual take-over of the Ministry of Magic and also Hogwarts. His followers were placed in key Ministry positions, and began changing laws and regulations. Voldemort also manipulated the news media (The Daily Prophet) using propaganda to sway public opinion. During his rise to power, the Dark Lord remained hidden from public view, making it difficult for the general public to realize what was going on or identify who was behind it. Once the take-over was consolidated, it became a law that every magical child now had to attend Hogwarts. That way, not only would they be indoctrinated into the new order, it was also a means to identify and cull any Muggle-born children. Of course, most Slytherins willingly sent their children to Hogwarts, despite the changes. Also, the general public did not know the exact circumstances of Dumbledore's death, discrediting Harry's account because he was being painted as an attention-seeking liar. By the time most people realized what was happening, they could do little about it.
Question: What phone does Sue have? I've been look all over Google for even some type of hint of what kind of phone it is but I have had no such luck.
Answer: I believe it's the Sony Xperia Tipo.
Question: Why is it that BumbleBee still can't talk?
Chosen answer: It's not 100% clear if it's his "natural" voice at the end of the first movie or just the radio, but the other movies imply he's either able to talk but prefers to use the radio, or that his voicebox was only partially repaired, and still malfunctions.
Question: If V was the one in charge of the Facility when Evey is being "tortured" then why are there more than one guard at a time in the scenes? I can understand one as V could change his voice and appearance (as never do you see their faces) but when there are more than one how does that work? I thought he didn't trust anyone?
Question: Manolo's father and grandmother as well as his audience, except for Maria, are disappointed in Manolo for not killing the bull at the bull fight. At the end of the scene, the bull shakes his head in disappointment. Why would the bull be disappointed in Manolo too when the bull should know he is the victim?
Question: Why didn't Magneto simply use the Sentinel-Robots to kill everyone at the White House in front of the camera crews to establish that using robots is a bad idea, completely shut-down the Mutant fear and never expose himself?
Answer: Because that is not Magneto's goal. He wants people to know about him and his cause. To bring other Mutants to his cause.
Question: A few questions. 1. Why does everyone stare at Dre after he claps for Meiying for her performance? 2. Why is she told by her parents her and Dre can't be friends anymore? 3. Are there tournaments in China like the one in this movie? 4. Was this filmed in China at all?
Chosen answer: 1. It was unexpected. In China, not clapping is considered a compliment. 2. They feel Dre is a distraction. 3. Yes. There are martial arts tournaments in China as depicted in the film. 4. Yes. The scenes which feature the Forbidden City, Wudang Mountain, and the Great Wall were filmed on location.
Question: When the FBI take McClane and Farrell and the voice of Maggie Q is recognised by Matt - how does she know McClane is with Matt? She says to get her a line to the FBI driver and get me all the info on John McClane. At which point did they even know John McClane's name or who he was?
Answer: The radio line mentioned the officer's name in the seconds after Gabriel's voice recognition picked up Farrell's name.
Answer: They would have called ahead to DHS to advise them that a NYPD office of SO SO name would be coming to hoover building escorting Mr Feral. I would only assume when they said his name and Matt's name over the police band it triggered a hit for Matt's name, and then they listened to it, causing them to know who is riding in the LEO car. Hypothetically of course.
Answer: They sent 5 guys to kill Matt Farrell. 2 survived and stated there was a guy with Farrell as the reason they didn't kill him. I always figured, up until that point, that they had checked to see who was dispatched to Farrell's address before they got to him.
Question: How old is Danny supposed to be? And why in the scene were Daniel is out to eat with his mom after seeing the karate place that Johnny is in, why do they come out point to him laugh and run away?
Chosen answer: Daniel is 15. He turns 16 just before the tournament. Remember that the cobra kais hate Daniel. So the fact that he had the audacity to show up at their dojo and is then spotted eating with his "mommy" amuses them. They run away because they wanted to be ready on their bikes to get him when he left the restaurant.
No, he was 17, turning 18 in the film (note his line "kid's legal now, huh?") Remember, Karate Kid II is the summer after part 1, where Daniel is going off to college in the Fall (or would have been).
This answer can't be accurate. When Daniel says "Kid's legal now", he meant he can now drive meaning he was 16. Just the same, he was able to fight a year later in the tournament in part 3, in which case he'd be 17. So he couldn't be 17 in part 1 or he would not qualify to enter in part 3 (being 18).
Answer: There definitely seems to be confusion about his age. Initially he was born in 1968, making him 15 turning 16 just before the tournament. When Mr. Miyagi celebrates Daniel's birthday, you can see the cake has 16 candles. However, in Karate Kid 3, which is meant to be set the following school year, Daniel is in college, so they retconned his birthday to 1966 (December 18, 1966 is his). This of course means Daniel was over 18 when fighting in the All Valley Under-18 Karate Championship.
Question: If Isabel is such a good detective, why did she not question more why Rusty stole the paintings from the random Frenchman? She should have been able to put two and two together and realized that the random Frenchman is The Night Fox.
Answer: Why should Isabel think he is the Night Fox? She knows Rusty and his friends are thieves so she would suspect that they stole them for that reason.
Question: What does Manolo's mother mean when she says, "Wait until he gets here," as she refers to Manolo's father?
Chosen answer: She's saying "wait until he gets here" as in 'wait until his time comes and he's in the land of the remembered'. As in, more morbidly, just wait until Manolo's father dies & she's able to scold him in the land of the remembered.
Question: OK, hope I'm articulating this properly: when Marty returns to 1985 from 2015 with Jen and the Doc, he places Jen at the porch of her own home. At this point, he hasn't realised yet that he's actually in an alternate 1985, because old Biff has discovered the time machine, and taken the Sports Almanac to the Biff of 1955. We all know what happens from there: Marty and the Doc now have to go back to 1955 (again) to stop Biff from getting the almanac, thus making the upcoming 1985 timeline "correct." Well, as they are successful...how come Jen is OK? Surely, as she was left in the alternate 1985 and isn't really in the "correct" 1985, she now fails to exist when Marty comes back to the "correct" 1985 to collect her at the porch? She must disappear with the alternate 1985? Or am I over thinking this?
Answer: According to Doc, the timeline fixed itself around her. The best explanation I found online was since she was from the original 1985, when everything reset, it was as if she was still in the original timeline.
Answer: Because when Marty arrived in 1885 and reunited with Doc, he told him "God, Jennifer I hope she is all right Doc, I can't believe we just left her there" to which Doc replies that when Marty burned the Almanac in 1955 the timeline was restored. This is proven when the newspaper reveals that George McFly honored and Doc Brown commended.
Question: Isn't the plot inherently flawed? Chow was already in Las Vegas, so there's no real correlation between him and the main characters, so he would've stolen Marshall's gold, whether or not he met them right?
Answer: Not necessarily. Keep in mind, before that, Chow didn't have any prior relations to Marshall, but after they showed up, he did, when he kidnapped B. Doug, who works for Marshall. It would make sense that Marshall would then be angry at Chow, and prompt the latter to steal his gold.
Question: Did Rupert Grint truly get nicked in the face by debris during the wizard's chess match? All google searches come back with blogs of personal opinions.
Chosen answer: Only people who know for sure, ie. cast and crew, have neither confirmed nor denied him really getting hit. As of right now it's up to speculation.

Chosen answer: While this might be an oversight in the show itself, speaking from experience there is a possibility of snow coming and going despite being a warm month. I remember in 2014 going from a high of 8° Celsius (46F) and sunny to -16 C (3.2F) and heavy snow the very next day. The statement as you put means it's the hottest April on record, not the hottest temperatures for the entire year. It may have been unusual temperatures for that time of year and warmer than usual. The snow might have only been for a brief period and disappeared shortly after.
