Question: I have this on DVD, but I'm sure a scene was cut out, on the video was there a scene where Archie was standing there naked and the family walk in, and Wanda comes down, kisses him, and leaves?

Answer: Haven't ever seen a deleted scene of this. It's more likely that Wanda slipped out an upstairs door or window.

Captain Defenestrator

Answer: It is in the deleted scenes of my Blu-ray. After early test screenings it was decided to make Wanda less cold and calculating and actually fall for Archie. The scene no longer fit with the new characterization.

Question: How come Kim didn't own up about the burglary? If she really cared for him she would have told them the truth.

Answer: Probably because she was afraid of getting herself and all her friends in trouble with her. Her boyfriend is unpredictable and violent, she could easily be afraid of him.

Question: Is it me, or is Carrie's mother smiling when she gets stabbed multiple times by Carrie?

Answer: My feeling is that being so fundamentally religious that she was almost happy to finally die, and meet God as she believed.

Answer: She was also crucified, which makes her feel connected to Jesus.

Brian Katcher

Answer: I think for somebody as repressed as Carrie's mother even something like physical pain is a kind of release (her moans sound sexual to me). Also, remember the mother talking about enjoying Carrie's father touching her? "Hands all over me", there could be a parallel there.

Jack Vaughan

I agree – it almost seemed like she was having an orgasm, or close to it, during her death throes.

Question: Jonathan Kent dies of a heart attack. So why does he look at his arm in shock before he collapses? What does that tell him?

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: Massive heart attacks are often preceded by pain in the left arm before it is felt elsewhere. The aorta, the main artery leading away from the heart runs down the left arm. There can also be pain in the right arm, but the left one is more common.

Show generally

Question: Do the actors perform their own stunts on this show? If not, they did a great job of casting look-alikes.

Answer: It depends. If you watch the action scenes in slow motion, you can often tell if it's the actor or a stunt double. Leo Howard seems to do a lot of his own fight scenes and acrobatics while many of the fights and flips by other characters are done by doubles; although occasionally Olivia Holt will perform a simple flip or fight.

Both Leo Howard and Olivia Holt have black belts and completed their own stunts.

Chosen answer: This is a very old expression meaning that if someone, anyone, does nothing but work all the time and never takes time for recreation or relaxation, they will become a dull, uninspired person. Jack, the main character, is twisting the expression in a malevolent way as his mind and body are being taken over by evil ghosts. It's origin was from typing classes, used as a sample phrase for children to articulate movement across the keyboard.

Question: While talking to Xavier, Viktor and his girl reference a movie that they hold the box of. You never see what it is or hear them say it. She says 'I never understood why he let the King live in the end.' What movie are they talking about?

Quantom X

Question: When Alex walks by the guys, Mace yells out 'Porn horn!' Is there any significance to him saying that in regards to the case or anything? Or is it just dementia babble?

Quantom X

Question: When Hydell takes Hock's gun and the shooting starts, what causes the explosion? (00:16:55)

Quantom X

Chosen answer: They are in a space station prison. Most likely the bullet from the gun hit an oxygen tank or line and caused a spark. Pure oxygen is highly explosive.

Question: After Talia orders Foley and the other cops to be gunned down, Foley's body is shown and he doesn't appear to have any bullet holes in him. Even with his black uniform you can see that his clothes don't have tears. Although it's possible that he was shot in the back, wouldn't the type of guns that are on the Tumblers be powerful enough to cause exit wounds?

Phaneron

Answer: He was hit by the tumbler. It wasn't included in the final cut due to how graphic it was when filmed.

Chosen answer: Almost certainly, yes, in fact, if the weapons demonstrated by the original Tumbler give any guide, his body would likely be severely damaged if not torn apart completely. However, as we don't actually see the precise circumstances of his shooting, we can't say that he was hit by one of the Tumbler's guns; given the intact state of his body, it seems far more likely that he was gunned down using a smaller weapon carried by one of Talia's remaining henchmen.

Question: Was the child with the sack over his head, who attacked the mother and locked her in the bathroom, Simon or one of the children (ghosts)?

Answer: It was Simon. He had found the mask in Thomas' little house and attacked her while wearing it because he was angry she had fought with him. We know it is him as the boy in the mask is wearing Simon's shoes, and later on when Simon is found he is wearing the mask.

Question: When the sharp shooter said to Ramirez, "That's my boy", was that meant to imply that Ramirez is actually his son?

Quantom X

Chosen answer: No, this is explained when O'Mara recruits Kennard. Kennard says that nobody would work with Ramirez because of his Latino heritage, so Kennard took him under his wing. And while he did that, he also taught Ramirez to shoot just as good he can, because before that, Ramirez was a lousy shot.

Question: When Ezekial attacked the Howard rocket and he beat Iron Man down, why didn't he just kiill Iron Man then? Besides obviously that ending the movie right there.

Quantom X

Question: How does the adamantium bullet erase Wolverine's memory? They say in the movie that it wouldn't kill him just erase his memory, I don't understand how.

pepino81

Chosen answer: The bullet pierces his skull and tears up his brain. He can heal from the wound, but the memories that were held in those sections of the brain are not restored because there's no record of them in his DNA.

Garlonuss

Question: Does anyone understand how the function of the architect works? As told in the movie, the architect creates the world of the dream, and then the subject is brought into that dream and fills it with their subconscious. So doesn't that mean the architect must be the main dreamer, with the subject and others acting as the participants of that dream so that the architect can set the infrastructure for the subject to populate? Otherwise, the story would need to explain how the architect has the power to override the dreamer's dream framework.

Teru_Kage

Chosen answer: The architect designs all of the dream layouts then teaches those layouts to the people who will be the main dreamer for each level. They could be the main dreamer on one of those levels, but by having the architect teach the layout to different people, that means that the architect can move into each successive level along with the group and you can always have someone in the group who is very familiar with the layout of each dream level.

Garlonuss

Question: If Vanellope's true rank is princess, how come she doesn't know or remember?

Answer: When King Candy went to delete Vanellope's code making her a glitch, he also locked all of the stuff the racers and citizens knew about Vanellope in a chest. Since Vanellope was also one of the racers, she would have forgotten everything about herself.

Casual Person

Question: During the clock tower scene at the end, why is it necessary for the DeLorean to be going 88mph at the exact moment lightning hit the clock tower? When the Delorean was struck by lightning while it was in mid air at the end of the second film, it wasn't going 88mph at all, yet it was still shot through time. Seems the Delorean could have been parked in the street in front of the clock tower connected to the wire and just wait to be struck by lightning and sent back to 1985, no?

Carl Missouri

Chosen answer: The DeLorean was spun on its axis at 88mph when it got struck by lightning, that's what caused the backwards 99 and the time jump. Unbeknownst to Doc he'd accidentally switched on the time circuits.

Show generally

Question: Is this show going to be a part of the Justice League universe DC is creating with the Man of Steel? I'm just wondering, because A) The Green Arrow has been a member of the Justice League in the past and B) they haven't done anything yet in the show to deny or confirm that it's going to be part of that.

Friso94

Chosen answer: There is no evidence at this point to suggest that this is the case. Most indications at this point suggest that Green Arrow is not under consideration as a likely character for any proposed Justice League movie.

Tailkinker

Chosen answer: The turkey's stuffing.

Bart Gets a Z - S21-E2
