The Foxes and Hounds Affair - S2-E4

Corrected entry: Professor Stemmler tells Solo that the hypodermic he's just been injected with contained water rather than the Minus-X drug. He'd have been better off with the drug, or at least a nice, blood-friendly saline solution. An injection of plain water can cause haemolysis (cell membrane rupture), which could be lethal. Absolutely not an urban myth. Professor Stemmler should know better.

Jean G

Correction: There's nothing in the scene to infer Stemmler was talking about "plain" water. Given Solo's lack of medical expertise, it would be easier to say "water" than "saline solution" (which is still water).

The Kid (2000)

Corrected entry: When Russ, Rusty and Janet are in an underground parking garage, you can see Russ's black Porsche in the very near background and the back very close to a blue dumpster as Russ talks to Janet. As they start to move towards Rusty, the shot shows them all still fairly close together. As Russ finishes saying, "This is me at age eight," the shot switches to them almost in front of Rusty but they are now quite a long way away from the Porsche.

Correction: The Porsche doesn't change position, and Russ and Janet are only close to it until the move towards Rusty. We see them walk close to Rusty and away from the Porsche and the distance doesn't change for the rest of the scene.

Raising Cain (1992)

Corrected entry: When Carter follows his wife through the trees and stands behind a tree to watch her and her ex, the ex's coat is not hanging on the branch of the tree. But the the next time it pans to him, it magically appears.

Correction: In the first scene where we see his wife Jenny with Jack, we see Jack hang his trench-coat up. Then when actually see the coat hanging on the tree the first time Carter is behind the tree.

The Waterboy (1998)

Corrected entry: When it shows all the girls around the table, the mascot picks up a bottle of alcohol and drinks from it, even though the bottle cap is obviously still on. (00:25:30)

Hamster

Correction: Not only is the bottle cap not on, we can see the bottle cap actually on the table. And when the mascot takes a drink, we can see the amount of alcohol in the bottle goes down.

The Waterboy (1998)

Corrected entry: When the coach goes to Bobby's house to talk about the team with his mom, Bobby's mom goes up to bed and the coach shows the tattoo on his butt. In the top left corner of the doorway you can see a boom mike.

Timothy Smith 2

Correction: That's not a boom mike, it's the lanterns on the porch.

The Robe (1953)

Corrected entry: During the film many of the characters refer to the area "Palestine" when speaking of "Jerusalem". Unfortunately "Palestine" was not named so when the film was set (30AD), the area in question was known as "Judea" until renamed "Palestine" around 120 AD, some 90 or so years later.

Mad Ade

Correction: This is wrong, what the submitter is referring to is the province Syria Palaestina, which was formed 135AD. However, the name Palestine for that region was around since the 5th century BC, deriving its name from a 1150BC word for the area.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: During the banquet scene, Robin Hood dives under a table with no-one, and no room for anyone else, under it. Suddenly, when we see him underneath, it's a different table and Maid Marian's under it.

Correction: This is simply not true. We see throughout the scene the table he ultimately hides under, and there's plenty of room for two people. The reason we don't see Maid Marian is because after she hides, we don't see a shot of under the table till he hides under it.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Selene was painting on the wall of the prison, when she was a young child the painting was at her eye height. Now when she returns, the painting (although faded by time) is again at eye height but now she is an adult. The painting should be under the water, but would serve no purpose there since the audience could not see it.

Spaceboy_007

Correction: As an adult, the painting is well below Selene's eye level. Her shoulder is at sun-height (at the very least), which is well above either of the younger girls.

Diana (2013)

Corrected entry: Diana is driving her car to the hospital on the right side of the road. But she is in England, and she should be driving on the left side. (00:30:05)

Correction: When we see Diana driving to the hospital, she's driving down a 1-way (and 1-lane) road.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Johannes comes home and sees his wife and family again there is no mentioning of the baby that his wife lost while he was away. He hasn't been in contact with them since he left when she was heavily pregnant. Surely the new baby (which he doesn't know is dead) would be the first thing on his mind when he came back?

littlestar

Correction: Just because characters act a different way than you would, or want them to, doesn't make it a mistake. And it's possible they had discussions off camera.

Frasier (1993)

First, Do No Harm - S6-E5

Corrected entry: In this episode Frasier and Niles talk about how they met Marie when they were children because Martin was friends with her father, Duke, therefore, Frasier and Niles would have known Duke as well. But in the episode "Duke's, We Hardly Knew Ye", they met Duke for the first time.

littlestar

Correction: Not only are some of these statements about the episode wrong, but there's a lot of incorrect assumptions. First, Frasier and Niles never talk about how they met Marie. When Frasier and Martin are talking, we find out that Frasier was only around Marie for one week, when she was six. And there's no indication Duke was around where they would have met him (you're just assuming that). And all Niles states is a nickname they had for her, which they could have had without being around her or her father.

The Wiggly Finger Catalyst - S5-E4

Corrected entry: Five minutes into the show, Sheldon has written down what a dice roll will tell him what to do. He rolls the dice, pauses and looks at the list to see what he has to do for that dice roll. The problem is he has an Eidetic memory and wouldn't take the time to look at the list when he can already see it in his head.

terry s

Correction: This is not at all accurate. The list he his looking at is the Cheesecake Factory menu, not one he created himself. Given the nature of the menu page Sheldon looks at, it's unlikely he's ever looked at that page before.

Bishop73

They ate there almost every episode.

terry s

They ate there every Tuesday and Sheldon always got the same thing (except when following the dice), the barbecue bacon cheeseburger with the barbecue sauce, bacon and cheese on the side.

Mr. Bean (1989)

Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean - S1-E14

Corrected entry: During the roller coaster ride, in one wide shot you can actually see Bean is not in the front seat but in the second seat. But we only just saw Bean get in the front seat. (00:10:10)

Correction: In all the wide shots Mr. Bean is always in the front seat of the front car.

Mr. Bean (1989)

Correction: There isn't a "sudden" parting. The bowl Mr. Bean used has notch (like a lip or spout) on it and we see Mr. Bean cut the hair to follow the edge of the bowl, which resulted in him cutting an upside down V into the front of the hair (that the submitter thinks is a part).

Tee Off, Mr. Bean - S1-E17

Corrected entry: In the beginning scene, Mr. Bean and a lady working for the laundromat are using silver-coloured washing machines to wash their clothes, But, if you watch carefully, both are seen taking their laundry out of yellow-coloured washing machines.

Rath

Correction: At the beginning they are using the washing machine and at the end they are pulling their stuff out of the yellow dryer.

The Cosby Show (1984)

Denise: The Saga Continues - S6-E1

Corrected entry: While getting ready for bed, Clair complains to Cliff that she had to cut Olivia's food behind Denise's back during dinner; but in the previous scene, Cliff offers to take Clair out to dinner alone because there are too many kids in the house (Theo, Vanessa, and Rudy have all their friends over), so how can Clair cut Olivia's food if she was out to dinner with Cliff?

mirtom

Correction: As you stated, Cliff offers to take her out to dinner, but we never hear her accept the offer, nor do we see them out to dinner alone. And, even if they did go out to dinner alone, Clair could still have cut Olivia's food during Olivia's dinner before or after going out.

The Cosby Show (1984)

An Early Spring - S2-E21

Corrected entry: When Clair is sitting on the front porch talking to Mrs. Westlake, she is wearing a purple plaid dress with fringe on the sleeves, but minutes later when she is in the kitchen with Vanessa and Denise, she is wearing a tan pantsuit with a red sweater.

Correction: While it may have been just a few minutes in real time, it wasn't just a few minutes in TV time. After the opening scene, the next scene is Dr. Huxtable finishing up his doctor's appointment with Mrs. Westlake, so plenty of time has passed for Clair to have changed out of her work clothes.

The Scout (1994)

Corrected entry: Al makes a promise to Steve that, if he signs with the Yankees, he won't have to pitch unless the team makes it to the World Series. But players aren't allowed to play in the post-season if they're not on the 25-man roster by the end of August.

Cubs Fan

Correction: There's no mistake here, just because Steve would have to be on the 25-man roster doesn't mean Al wouldn't lie to get Steve to sign.

Bishop73

Unnecessary Roughness - S7-E16

Corrected entry: At the Peach Pit After Dark, David and Tom are preparing for Super Bowl weekend. But the Super Bowl is played at the end of winter, and the gang is all about two weeks away from graduation, which occurs at the end of spring.

Cubs Fan

Correction: The graduation doesn't take place till episode 31, which aired in May. While preparations may have been made for graduations, they certainly were never 2 weeks away from graduation and no mistakes were made.
