Batman Begins (2005)

Corrected entry: When Batman is chased by the cops while he is trying to save Rachel, he reaches the roof of a parking lot and stops. A cop orders him to switch off the engine of his vehicle and get out. Later when Batman is chased inside a tunnel, we see a cop asking on his radio what the Batmobile looks like. The Batmobile then zooms past him and he says "never mind". The only problem is that it's the same cop both times, so he knew full well what the Batmobile looks like when it stopped in front of him initially. Probably caused by the order of those sequences being switched in editing, but still a mistake. (01:34:00 - 01:35:25)

Correction: It's not the same guy in both scenes. The cop on the roof is Ronan Leahy and the cop in the car asking for a description is Matt Miller.

Bishop73

It's the same guy, Matt Miller. Likely an editing error.

Batman Begins (2005)

Corrected entry: During the training exercise on the ice, just after Ducard says that the parents' deaths were Dr. Wayne's fault, Bruce gets up and launches after Ducard in anger. In the shot from the front, he doesn't wear any scarf. The next shot from his back reveals that he is wearing a red/gray scarf over his jacket. (00:19:15)

ployp

Correction: Throughout the whole fight he's wearing the scarf and you can see it in several shots before this. However, he's vigorously moving and fighting, so in some shots his jacket moves enough to expose the scarf and others it covers it up.

The Faculty (1998)

Corrected entry: When Stan is taking a shower, Mrs. Brummel comes in. When Stan hugs her, the right side of her scalp comes off. Then in a later scene, Delilah and Casey are hiding in the closet of the faculty lounge. They find the body of Mrs. Brummel and she falls to the floor. But now the left side of her scalp is missing.

Correction: This isn't correct. When the body falls in the closet, it's a lot more decayed and missing more hair. We still see the right side of the scalp missing like it was in the shower, she also happened to lose the left side of her scalp (off camera) as well. But no mistake.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: In the opening shot, where Sam is shown jogging and Steve overtakes him, visible in the background is the Washington Monument. A couple of scenes later, after the scene on the boat, a shot is shown showing The Triskelion for the first time. Just as this shot begins, we can see The Washington Monument in the far background and The Triskelion and Washington Monument are both facing each other in a direction that is around a 12 o'clock direction. If the two buildings were facing each other that way, then The Triskelion should have been visible in the background of the opening shot. (00:00:40 - 00:13:00)

Correction: The Triskelion is located west of the Washington Monument and across the Potomac. However, the opening scenes show the monument in an eastern direction where the building would be behind the camera, or at least to the west and off screen.

Sons of Anarchy (2008)

Pilot - S1-E1

Corrected entry: A BMW is towed to the shop with a buck (male deer) implanted through the windshield - the back half protrudes from the hole in the glass. An employee uses a chainsaw to remove the carcass in pieces. Later, the head of the buck is pulled from a box, and is seen to still have its sizable antlers. These antlers would not have remained attached as the head passed through the windshield - they would have snapped off. And even if they had not broken off, the windshield's damage would have been significantly different to account for the antlers passing through it.

johnrosa

Correction: I would hardly call the buck's antlers "sizable" (having only 4-points and being narrow). They certainly wouldn't have broken off, and you can see the buck's body is wider than the antlers, so the hole size and damage in the windshield is based on the body, not the antlers.

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when the doorbell rings on Austin and Vanessa's honeymoon, they are both naked and their bathrobes are nowhere in sight. However, a split second later he answers the door with his bathrobe on. Vanessa also seemed to put hers on in a split second too.

Correction: Watch the scene again, their robes are in plain sight on the couch. And it's hardly a split second as we watch a Random Task wheel in the cart, and Vanessa is finishing tying up her robe.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Austin tries to leave the chamber where the fembots are, two of them swing inwards to block the door. When he's dancing, these fembots are never seen again - they're not visible behind him and they don't blow up. (01:13:35)

Moose

Correction: Watch the scene again. There's 7 Fembots when he comes in. And when Austin starts dancing, we see the 2 blocking the door move away from the door and with the others. When Austin lights the cigarettes, he counts 7 Fembots. So they are definitely seen again and blown up.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: After Austin and Vanessa escape the tank with the evil attack fish. They're driving away on a golf cart-type thing and Austin sends Vanessa off. He's trying to turn the golf cart around, and he keeps getting stuck, banging into the walls. At first, it's the same cart they'd been riding in. Then they cut away to another scene... when they come back to Austin, he's got the cart wedged between two walls... but it's a totally different cart. Much, much longer. (The other one was shorter and wouldn't have reached both walls at the same time!)

Correction: This is incorrect. It's the same golf cart, it might appear longer to you because of the angle (slanted vs horizontal). But in both shots the carts have the front and rear bench seat and bed, the second shot doesn't have an extended bed or cab or extra row of seats, etc.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Austin and Vanessa are flying over to the states on the cool plane, there is a scene where Vanessa and Austin are talking, if you concentrate on Vanessa she has her glasses on, then in the next scene they are off, then they are back on again, how can she do this this in the space of seconds?

Correction: In the scene you're describing, we see her take the glasses off. She has them off till Austin says "can I show you something", but Vanessa isn't on camera and would have had time to put them on.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: Riton makes some money as a Coca Cola-style Santa Claus, but this figure was created in 1931, that is one year later as the film is set, and still needed many years to make its way into France. (01:37:00)

Correction: This is one of those Internet lies that Coca-Cola invented Santa Claus as we know him today. The bearded, jolly fat man in a red suit existed long before that. The 1823 poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas", with illustration, demonstrates this, also Harper's Weekly magazine ran a series of engravings by Thomas Nast between 1863 and 1886 which depicted him very much like the "modern" Santa.

Pleasantville (1998)

Corrected entry: All cars parked at Lovers' Lane are convertibles. But when the camera is on Mary-Sue's face the car behind her is out of focus but still recognisable as a limousine. (00:31:00)

NancyFelix

Correction: When you see the out of focus car behind her the first time, it's the body of the convertible car. The second time, the camera is at a higher angle so you can see that it's the convertible car more. But certainly there's never a limousine behind her.

The Faculty (1998)

Corrected entry: When Zeke hands Mary-Beth the drug, when she takes the drug from him the lid is not on, then it is in the next shot.

Correction: The whole time Zeke is holding the vials of drugs (for Mary-Beth and Delilah) the lids are on both of them. And when he hands one to Mary-Beth, the lid is still on.

The Faculty (1998)

Corrected entry: Near the beginning, when the coach is drinking water like it's going out of fashion, the first shot shows the water bottle on the dispenser practically empty, then in the next shot it is full again.

Correction: No, the water bottle is never near empty. In fact, the first time you see it, it's filled nearly to the top and goes down each time since he's drinking a lot of water.

The Simpsons (1989)

Margical History Tour - S15-E11

Corrected entry: In this episode, King Henry VIII executed five of his six wives. In real life, Henry only executed two, Anne Boleyn (his second wife)and Katherine Howard (his fifth wife).

Correction: The premise of this episode is that without books in the library, Marge is telling the kids the history stories. Marge either was just taught incorrectly or she doesn't know and made up a number that sounded reasonable.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: The premise of this episode is that without books in the library, Marge tells the kids the history stories from her own recollection. Either Marge didn't know better or changed it, because a beheading makes a better story than just having complications.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: Pinchy is a darkish, almost brown color, and only bright red when cooked (of course the Simpsons also depict people as being yellow).

Bishop73

Corrected entry: During the Federal Reserve scenes, the driller machine cuts a hole in the wall into one of the gold deposits. In one scene, the gold is stacked at the same level. When we see the room on the television screen, there are 2 different height levels of gold in the room.

Correction: We see different sections. The first shot of the gold we see is the French Republic. The second shot (on the monitor) only shows part of the gold stacks, so they look even, but the view is cut off shortly above the doorknob. The 3rd shot on the monitor shows the whole section, and we see different levels of gold stacks, which are exactly the same stacks seen when it cuts to the camera view of it (as opposed to the monitor view).

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When McClane first pulls truck driver Jerry over, he sneaks a peak through the cover on the top of the truck. During the next overhead shots entering the aqueduct and whilst in the aqueduct, Jerry's truck cover is missing and the truck is empty.

Correction: Jerry's truck never has a cover and McClane never "sneaks a peek" under anything. Jerry's truck has red wood panelling on the side and McClane looks over this, you can even see his hand his holding onto the wood, and there's no cover to begin with.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: After the scene in the park with the jugs, McClane and Zeus climb over the fence. If you look at the fence you can see that the part of the fence they climb over has an extra bar on top to make it easier to climb over for the actors.

Lightrock

Correction: There is no "extra" bar. This is just how the fence is designed. The whole fence is that way, not just one section.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: When Mark Ratner and Stacy Hamilton are having dinner, it's supposed to be at night but sunlight can be seen coming through, through the windows. (00:36:35)

Correction: There's no reason to think it's sunlight - it's more likely the restaurant had a well lit porch or patio (like many restaurants do).
