Corrected entry: A trunk of a car opens while everything is supposed to be frozen. In the first shot it is closed, but in the second shot, it is fully open. (00:24:27 - 00:25:10)
Correction: The trunk of the grey car is open in both shots.
The mistake is correct. There were 3 shots of the car and you're referring to the last 2 shots where they were both open. The first shot of the car is after we see Anges watching through the window and the trunk is cracked open, but still down. The 2nd shot is after Anges says "run along dear", but everything else is still suppose to be frozen.
Okay, but they are not "frozen", they are watching. You can even see the woman move, so she is in the process of opening the trunk. So not a mistake regardless.
I submitted a mistake of her moving because they are meant to be frozen.
Who says they are supposed to be frozen?
I guess that would be a matter of debate. You do see the wind blowing the skirt of a woman, but other than that (and the slight moment of another girl), no-one is moving. It's one thing to say they're watching, but if they're not frozen, they're playing a great game of statue, and then they all start moving again at the same time.
Everyone else in the city of mind-controlled slaves is obviously characterized as being a little more than simply engrossed in their own curiosity; the hand movement of that woman is out of place and kinda the 'real' mistake IMHO, more like the extra adjusting her position than anything. If she opened the trunk deliberately while on camera, it would have undermined completely the tension of the scene.
Please let's just stick to the facts. No endless debates, perhaps use the discord server for that. The fact of the matter is as soon as they come out of the house everybody around them stops what they are doing and starts watching, nobody "freezes" in the middle of an action. Their roles have probably temporarily been suspended because Wanda is otherwise occupied, but that doesn't mean they stop moving altogether.

No there aren't. There's only 4 cards on the side of the cup. That's the whole point of Wildcard Poker cups, 4 cards with one on the bottom.
Well actually there are 5 on the side of the cup, but indeed that still wouldn't be enough to get a full house with a queen. But still, he is allowed to be wrong.

It's possibly because multiple takes were made of this scene and different cups were used. This can be evidenced by the cup that falls to the floor being different to the one seen in his hand. Presumably, in one take he did have a full house, but they forgot to use the correct cup in the shot that was used.

The Thing (2011)
Corrected entry: Supposedly the thing landed/crashed and crawled out afterwards into the freezing arctic, where it froze solid. Well and good. Why did it leave the ship into the freezing environment it could not tolerate? As soon as it enters the ship it fires it up and starts to take off. So there was apparently nothing wrong with the ship requiring it to go outside in the first place.
Correction: The idea is the alien got flung out of the ship when it crashed, ending up in the ice and freezing solid before it could escape back inside.

Godzilla (1998)
Factual error: F-18 Hornets deploy Harpoon anti-ship missiles to destroy Madison Square Garden. The Harpoon is an anti-ship missile, designed to punch holes in ships. It is not designed, nor capable of levelling buildings. A Harpoon also works best over water; firing over a crowded city confuses its radar seeker head and leads to tracking issues.

Suggested correction: There is a variant of the AGM-84 Harpoon called the "SLAM" (Standoff Land Attack Missile) which is a harpoon variant used for surface targets. Its designation is the AGM-84E. Also it's guidance system is an active radar homing system which is perfect for pretty much any targeting, not just over water. It is used on Phoenix AA missiles, Hellfire Air-To-Surface missiles and the very famous Patriot SAM missiles. Plus the SLAM even uses GPS.

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: On the DVD version, in the scene where Doc gets shot and then later reveals to Marty that he was wearing a bullet proof vest. A vest does not work in the way shown in the movie. It doesn't repel bullets (as shown in the "impact points" in the vest he displays), it absorbs them. Read how a vest works from howstuffworks dot com and you'll see what I mean. In addition, it looks like he is wearing only a Threat Level 2a class vest. An AK47 or similar weapon with a 7.62mm round would go clean through the vest, through Doc, and out the other side thus killing him and ending the story. The only style of vest that can withstand that sort of impact is a Threat Level 3 class vest (the style that specialized units in the military wear). This style is very bulky and is extremely difficult to conceal like Doc did. In addition, it has a ceramic plate in it which would have shattered upon the first impact and failed to protect against multiple impacts from that kind of weapon, and definitely not show "impact points" of twisted metal.
Correction: Doc is a brilliant scientist as well as an inventor. He had the time and the ability to invent his own special material that works like no other material known to man. If he can invent a time machine, I'm sure a bulletproof material would be easy for him.
As he stated in 1955, none of his inventions had ever worked. When he heard about and was shown the Delorean, he was amazed because it worked. I don't think that he would have been able to invent a jacket that repels bullets that great.
He is still a brilliant inventor/engineer that eventually makes the DeLorean run on bio-fuel and makes a train fly. Surely he can invent himself a vest.
Unless he is super paranoid I don't think he thought he would be shot.
Correction: After 30 years it's possible for him to invent the vest. Also, from what I see, the vest hasn't repelled the rounds, as we can see where they've hit as the rounds have impacted the vest.

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: When Marty shows the video to the 1955 Doc, the 1985 Doc on the video states their location as the "Twin Pines Mall". Since Marty already knocked down one of the pines, the mall should've already been renamed to "Lone Pine Mall" on the video.
Correction: The timestream in the Back To The Future series is demonstrated as being somewhat resistant to changes; when Marty interferes with his parents' first meeting, he doesn't start to fade out for about a week after that happens. When Marty shows Doc the video, not enough time has passed for the effects of the timeline change to appear on the tape.
When someone time travels, they don't change the timeline they are from, they just create branching timelines every time someone makes a decision. This recording was made in the first timeline, so it would still be Twin Pines Mall.
That's not the case though. The photo Marty brings of his siblings fades out, newspaper headlines brought from the past/future change, etc.
Except he was slowly disappearing at the end of the movie. Which wouldn't happen if he was "branching off." They mix up linear timelines and parallel universes in these movies. They always, always screw up time travel movies.

Corrected entry: Upon reentry, a crew member comments that the atmosphere is like "breathing through an exhaust pipe, CO2 is over 3%, two minutes without a suit and you're dead." However, human beings can live in an environment of over 5% CO2, with only mild discomfort in the 3% range.
Correction: They're just rattling off a list of details about the atmosphere, concluding with the fact that it will kill you. Its lethal toxicity is not to do with the CO2 levels.
"Not to do with the CO2 levels"? Read the quote. They're saying you'll die in minutes from exposure to 3% CO2. That would make mouth-to-mouth resuscitation an impossibility as we exhale about 4% CO2. Even if they meant carbon monoxide - ie. What comes out of an exhaust pipe - you'd still have have to be WELL over 3% concentration for it to be lethal within minutes.
The quote does say the atmosphere is over 3%, not at 3%. Could be 6%.
It's unlikely after saying 71% nitrogen and 21% oxygen that "over 3%" would mean double the amount. Over 3% would mean less than 4%. But I would like to know what studies shows humans surviving over 5% CO2 levels to see what the rest of the air is made up of.

Chapter 15: The Believer - S2-E7
Stupidity: We are thrilled to see Bill Burr's face, and he does some impressive acting in this episode, however Mando and him are going inside a base without any intel or cover, trying to be low-profile and avoid risk, but he chose to ditch his helmet for a petty reason (makes driving - in a straight line - harder) and he does not pick it back up even if he easily could, when the drive is over. And of course, nobody in the base realises that they have never seen that guy before, and the original drivers must had no comrades/friends who were awaiting their return ,nor officer to report to.

Suggested correction: All highly speculative. Both of them take their helmets off and nobody knows who they are. Not unlikely since there is no reason given why they should be known to the people at the base. Unless you can give a good reason why they should, this is not a stupidity.
Can you give me a good reason why nobody should be waiting for the drivers' arrival or know what they look like? Which is what I said in the entry; not that people do not know who Bill Burr is (which is incidentally also what happens since he knows the officer, and he does know of the base at least), but that nobody knows they are not the people driving the trucks. He's totally unconcerned.

Stupidity: The Empire has plenty troops and TIE Fighters, and the locals are armed with sticks, but the convoys of highly volatile explosives have no armed escort whatsoever, despite the fact that they keep losing those huge trucks full of precious chemicals to those troglodytes with no body armor or special skills.

Suggested correction: The empire doesn't have plenty of anything, this is after the fall of the empire, this is what is left and they are hanging by a thread. It probably costs too much to have escorts, or escorts like TIE fighters are too expensive to risk, even against "troglodytes." They'd rather accept the losses they take, apparently that is more cost efficient.
Plenty more than what the opponents have, in that very base. They have TIE fighters in the base, who provide air support at the very end. They have troops. The opponents show having no offensive weapon at all other than detonators, that they fling like stones. Losing transport convoys because you provide literally zero escort to them is no strategy in times of abundance, even less in times of scarcity. And that chemical is a strategic resource that helps their war, and the only reason the base exists.

Corrected entry: Mando is 'scoping' the place with the Blurrg beasts but is surprised by one of them. Funnily enough, despite having the beast in his sight (the scope he is using is his weapon's!) he does not shoot the weapon he has ready, and tries and use another one. He also never reaches for his blaster, not even when the second beast approaches, and he could easily die. It's as if he knew that he was going to meet a friendly beast tamer. (00:23:50)
Correction: This is taking the scene completely out of context. The Blurrg are known to be pack and riding animals, for all he knows they belong to someone. Wouldn't be smart to start killing someone's livestock. He only uses the scope of the gun to see further, he is not hunting these animals. Therefore instead of shooting he tried to scare it away with flames.

Corrected entry: When Marty is trying to prove to Doc that he is from the future, he shows him his driver's license and the photo of himself and his siblings. Doc immediately dismisses them both. Doesn't Doc notice that the quality of the color in the photos is much better than any color film that existed in the 1950's? Wouldn't that grab his attention?
Correction: If he actually took the time to examine it, maybe. Think about it, if someone walked up and told you he was from the future and showed you a document to prove it, would you believe him and examine it or humor the weirdo and get away as quick as you could?

Wonder Woman (2017)
Corrected entry: The Germans on the ship should've opened fire on the beach when they saw the battle going on. No reason is given why they didn't.
Correction: Perhaps they didn't want to fire on their own troops as the ship started capsizing. Not an ideal scenario in which to try and accurately target enemies on a beach.
Well in every war America's been in cannons are firing even as troops are engaged on the battlefield.This was also quite risky and necessary, hence why I brought this up.
It is not customary to fire on your own troops. Not in any war. Highly rarely it is inevitable, but not in this scenario.
That is not standard practice, and the ship was sinking at the same time. The crew had other things to worry about.

Continuity mistake: When the flashback with Asteria is shown she's got hazel or green eyes. In the post credits scene when played by Lynda Carter she's got light blue eyes.

Suggested correction: It should be noted, Lynda Carter played both parts. Those are literally Lynda Carter's eyes we see in the flashback.
Still doesn't explain why they are green in the flashback. Lynda Carter has blue eyes. Probably caused by a color filter.
It could be a lighting issue or the way the armor made her eyes look different, but it's not a mistake since it's the same color eyes. (There are optical illusions that make some people see one color as two different colors based on the surrounding color).

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Corrected entry: In the Ministry of Magic near the end, Neville tells Harry that he couldn't pick up the prophecy ball because it had Harry's name on it and only the person whose name is on a prophecy may remove it. But a few moments later Hermione is able to use her wand to make numerous prophecy balls fly off the shelves in order to escape the Death Eaters.
Correction: Neville never says that. He calls to Harry and says "It's got your name on it". Later, Lucius Malfoy tells Harry that only the person whom the prophecy is about can retrieve it, meaning retrieve the prophecy from the ball. Anyone can touch the ball. You'll notice the prophecy isn't spoken from the ball until Harry holds it.
But why does Lucius Malfoy want it if he can't listen to it?
Lucius was ordered by Voldemort to bring it to him. Voldemort can listen to it just like Harry can. It involves both of them.

Other mistake: Flying the jet plane, Steve is surprised by the lights in the sky and needs Diana to explain to him that it's fireworks and it's the 4th of July. Fireworks are something that has existed for centuries, and Steve himself was the one who found the plane ticket for the 4th commenting "If this date is right." (01:11:30)

Suggested correction: He didn't realise it was the 4th of July, he's just surprised to see fireworks, not that he doesn't know what they are. The date on the plane ticket he just forgot.
He asks "What's that?" when the fireworks are visible and can't really be mistaken as anything else, and he himself was fully aware of the date before they headed to the hangar, but Diana says "The 4th" and he asks "The 4th of July?" like it's the first time he even thinks which month is it. If you listen to it, the emphasis is on the question in the delivery of the line as in "It's the 4th of July?", not as in "Oh, the 4th of July, right!"
She says it's the fourth and he instantly realises it's fireworks for the fourth of July. There is no indication whatsoever that Steve doesn't know what fireworks are and your movie mistake suggests the makers intended Steve not to know what fireworks are, which is ridiculous. Your interpretation of the scene is just wrong.
He does not instantly realise it's fireworks for the fourth of July. She has to reassure him that "oh it's OK, it's just fireworks", then she says "The 4th, of course" and he replies, as I said "The 4th of July?" with huge emphasis on the surprise. Sorry if you find my interpretation of the scene 'just wrong', but if they did not have his character call attention on the date literally 5 minutes earlier in the movie (it is a fact), I would have not reported it just for the fireworks part alone (which is more subjective, we read differently, and I respect your position).

Plot hole: The Imperial terminals have facial scan recognition...or just facial scan, really, since ANYONE regardless of being part of the army or not can just access any information of any level, as long as they have ANY face that the app can scan and identify as not being a known criminal.

And also criminals from doing that. It runs a check, as I said in the entry. Against "Any New Republic registry", even, which should disqualify also Mayfeld being a convicted felon, but that's another issue. Who designs a security system that does complex checks about who is a wanted criminal or part of 'the other side' but does not check if you are part of their side? Also, any low level trooper (or nobody, even the janitor) can just access any information of any level, including the location of their special forces cruiser.
Maybe it just checks if you're human. You never see non-humans as part of the empire. A lot of non-humans are as "subspecies" by the empire.

Passengers (2016)
Corrected entry: Gus got upset when he saw that Jim had planted a tree, and there was no indication that the Avalon was designed or equipped to adequately handle live trees, flowers, vines, shrubs, and grass on board, but Jim apparently planted a large roomful of these things. When the first tree was planted, the Avalon would not reach Homestead II for about 90 years. The roving robot vacuums would have had to be removed from this area to enable grass to grow, and there's no explanation for how the plants could be watered (and without causing damage to the floor) or where all the fallen leaves went. Tree roots can push objects in their path, potentially causing structural damage to the Avalon. Avalon may have been very advanced, but failures had occurred without the added "cargo." Without being specifically designed to allow such growth on board, surely problems not anticipated would occur over the decades in space, risking all the passengers... even the ship.
Correction: This is all based on speculations. They had plenty of time to develop a good ecosystem for the plants before they died, finding a way to manipulate the ship and robots to help watering and keep the area clean. Possibly even direct and cut roots.

Stupidity: Max is shown fulfilling the various wishes that people express to him, and never turn down any; it would not fit what he became anyway, which is a wishing stone. If people touch him, he has to comply. The wishes he can grant have seemingly no limit, and yet, in this predicament it takes a humongous level of suspension of disbelief to assume that in a climate of global war and chaos, NOBODY wishes for things to go better in any way and the nuclear war to be stopped. There are even in some street scenes "Ban nukes" signs; surely some of those guys must have wished for the madness to stop.

Suggested correction: The Dreamstone was also created by the Duke of Deception to bring chaos into the world. It brought out people's selfish desires. When Max Lord became the Dreamstone, he was able to continue to manipulate people in wishing what they truly desired, wishing for more than than had. In the comics, Max Lord had the ability to telepathically alter people's minds after he became a metahuman, so it seems the film incorporated this power as well. It/He made people wish for selfish things. That was the purpose of Wonder Woman's monologue, to tell the people to become less selfish, so give up their wants, to be the hero to save the world by giving up their wish (and wish for a better world would have cost too much, so that wouldn't be an option).
"Cost too much" is not a rule established in the movie, since desires like the deportation of the Irish, "Wish I never met you" "want all the money in the world" someone says in background have astonishingly powerful ramifications. LIkewise why would it be an implication that he is the one who makes them wish only selfish things? The movie wants to say that there are no 'good' wishes when you take shortcuts to make them happen (or at least it tries to referencing the Monkey paw) but to do so shows only wishes that are rotten to begin with.
Suggested correction: With so many people wishing at the same time, it's logical a lot of people are wishing for the opposite. I'm sure the stone's power has some way of dealing with conflicting wishes. For example, someone could wish for the world to blow up or burn, whilst others wish that everybody will be happy and healthy. So, nothing much happens that threatens human existence (the stone would be worthless if all humans are dead) as those wishes cancel eachother out. But the nuclear war happened before Max started talking to everybody, so that is happily continuing.
Most people would have wished the nukes to disappear pretty instantly especially with the world falling into chaos and everyone panicking about it.
And others would have wished for them to hit and kill the "heathens" or "hateful." Cancellation.

Correction: The wound is immediately cauterized from the heat. Therefore, no bleeding. You notice the hole in the face smoking, so he was probably killed by a grenade or shell from a mortar.
