Death Lives - S3-E6

Trivia: After Peter gets struck by lightning and Death appears, there is a shot of the sky and the clouds seem to break apart and the sun comes out. This looks remarkably like the beginning of the opening credits for "The Simpsons," another show on FOX.

Trivia: One of the best local jokes in the show is naming the Jr. High after the very notorious Providence mayor Buddy Cianci Jr., who is currently indicted and serving time.

Trivia: The three skyscrapers that can often be seen on the horizon behind the Griffin's house are the actual buildings One Financial Center, 50 Kennedy Plaza and the Bank of America Tower in Providence, Rhode Island.

Episode VI: It's a Trap - S9-E18

Trivia: When Jabba (Joe) is being choked, he says "Gichie gichie ya ya ya! Dada mocha chocalata ya ya!" These are some of the lyrics from the Labelle song "Lady Marmalade."

Blue Harvest - S6-E1

Trivia: When the Millennium Falcon is captured on the Death Star and Luke and Han impersonate Stormtroopers, Peter wears his glasses on the outside of his helmet.

DaBoom - S2-E3

Trivia: The ending live-action scene with Victoria Principal and Patrick Duffy spoofs the ending of Dallas' seventh season: an infamous retcon which, for the most part, voided a whole season of the show, in which Duffy's character was killed.

A Hero Sits Next Door - S1-E5

Trivia: Upon seeing Joe is handicapped, Peter exclaims "holy crip, he's a crapple." Such an error in speech, in which vowels or consonants in a word are switched around (i.e. He meant "Holy Crap, he's a cripple"), is called a spoonerism; somewhat appropriately, the Griffins and their neighbors live on Spooner Street.

Mister Act - S20-E11

Trivia: When Peter first breaks out into a solo, the song he's parodying is "Tragedy" by the Bee Gees. Barry Gibbs was notorious for singing in a high voice (falsetto). At the end, during the tribute to rarely used exercise equipment, an instrumental version of "Tragedy" is played.

Wasted Talent - S2-E20

Trivia: At the end of the episode, Peter shows he has one brain cell left. Inside his head, it shows the brain cell alone with glasses and saying he has time to read his books before leaning over. The glasses fall off and break, where he starts to cry that he had time to read them now but can't. This is a direct reference to this same thing happening in the 8th episode of season 1 of Twilight Zone where the last man alive breaks his glasses before he can read all the books he wants. Quantom X

Road to Germany - S7-E3

Continuity mistake: After getting the uranium, Stewie places it in the time pad and then puts the pad in his jacket pocket. After being confronted by Hitler who promises to spare them if they sing a musical number, Mort interrupts them, and it's seen that he is now standing on the time pad.

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
