Trivia: The scene where Rachel is on the balcony is the only scene in Friends in which Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Ross ALL appear together without Rachel and Chandler. Chandler was at the ATM vestibule, and Rachel was on the balcony. This scene begins with Phoebe singing "New York City has no power..."

The One After the Superbowl, part 2 - S2-E13
Trivia: A big plot line in this episode is Ross going to visit Marcel. Take a look at the restaurant names on the menu where they eat dinner: the restaurant is called "Marcel's."
Trivia: "Weird Al" Yankovic wanted to record a parody of this show's theme song titled "I'll Repair for You," that would have been themed around fellow 90s sitcom, Home Improvement. He obtained permission from The Rembrandts, but the producers of this show did not grant permission.
The One With The Embryos - S4-E12
Trivia: Chandler's line of "Donald Trump wants his blue blazer black" was a genuine flub by Matthew Perry. Everyone's reaction to it was so on-brand for their characters that they decided to use it it for the episode.
Trivia: The show's theme tune was originally going to be "Shiny Happy People" by R.E.M, but the band refused.

Trivia: The nurse who attends to the single mom and to Carol is the same actress who is Estelle, Joey's agent in later episodes.
Trivia: At Monica and Chandler's wedding reception, Phoebe covers for Rachel about her still unknown pregnancy by claiming she is the one who is pregnant. She claims the father is James Brolin, who is married to Barbara Streisand. Elliott Gould, who plays Ross and Monica's father, Jack Geller, was Barbara Streisand's first husband and is the father of her son. Also, Gould and Brolin co-starred in the 1977 movie, 'Capricorn One'.
The One Where Ross Hugs Rachel - S6-E2
Trivia: When Rachel thinks that she, Monica, and Chandler will be roommates, she sings, "Come and knock on our door," then Monica adds, "We'll be waiting for you," which are lyrics to the theme song for the 1970s-80s ABC sitcom 'Three's Company'.
Trivia: In one of the intros used in season 1 on TV you can see a clip of Ross, Chandler and Joey dancing in Ross' apartment. That clip is not in any aired episode. It's in the extended version of "The One with All the Poker".
The One With Joey's Award - S7-E18
Trivia: The original script for this featured a subplot with Ross seeing Chandler exiting a male strip club, with obvious confusion and assumptions, with Chandler later admitting he only goes there because he likes the sandwiches. Matthew Perry shut the idea down. He's barely in this episode, possibly as a result of this subplot being excised and it being simpler to expand the existing scenes rather than write a whole new Chandler-centric section.
The One with Two Parts: Part 1 - S1-E16
Trivia: Jennifer Grant, who plays Nina, the employee Chandler is supposed to fire, is the daughter of Cary Grant (the famous movie star of the 1940s and 1950s) and actress Dyan Cannon.
The One With Rachel's Inadvertent Kiss - S5-E17
Trivia: When viewing this episode on DVD compared to viewing it on Netflix, not only are a few shots deleted on the Netflix version, but there are also shots which had been filmed differently when Rachel returns after her first interview. On the DVD, she walks over to the table, puts her briefcase down on the chair and walks to the fridge, takes out a bottle of water...and then in a closeup Chandler asks her what happened while he's holding the newspaper. But in the Netflix version, Rachel walks over to the table, and just as she puts her briefcase down on the chair she stands behind the chair, and Chandler asks her what happened - all in the same wideshot, with the newspaper lying on the table.
Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.
