Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)
Corrected entry: Jason looks different here. This takes place after Jason Goes To Hell where he had bloodied hot pink skin, silver welded on hockey mask, dark blue boiler suit. Yet here he's wearing tattered clothes with black gloves, the original looking hockey mask, and is black skinned just like he was in Friday Part 6.
Correction: I think this mistake is dubious at best. The canon of the "Friday the 13th" series is already pretty sloppy with the films contradicting one-another, and this film indeed also contain ideas and notions that contradict both franchises. (Not the least of which being that Jason was literally dragged all the way to hell at the end of "Jason Goes to Hell", but is merely "asleep" just beneath the ground at the beginning of this film.) I don't think it's a stretch to say this film is more of an "alternate universe/what if?" situation, and not really a direct sequel to "Jason Goes to Hell" and "Freddy's Dead," and thus minor cosmetic differences shouldn't really be considered mistakes.

Robin Hood (2018)
Plot hole: Early in the film, Robin is wounded and he is immediately put on a boat back to England. When he arrives everyone in Nottingham thinks he died of his wounds. But how would they have heard that he was wounded when he was put on the first boat back to England?

Suggested correction: It wasn't that wound that they heard about. If you notice, the house he was in has been left stripped and vacant for years. They were all told he was dead several years before he returned home.
That would make sense if the sheriff's henchmen tried to kill him so he couldn't come back, but that's not what happens. So what was the sheriff's plan?
That Robin would die in the war. Robin was meant to be away longer as well. If he hadn't been essentially kicked out for disobeying orders he would have still been in the war. Plus all the sheriff has to say is he got a report saying he died and must have been in error - not much Robin could have really done about that.
Suggested correction: When Robin was first seen in combat the caption reads 4 years later. However, when he talks to Friar Tuck, he said he's been dead for over 2yrs. In their eyes, he's been dead for half of his career as a soldier.

Well if they're an ancient race then how do they know of the use of the word rack regarding female anatomy? One of them went out into the modern world and learned this? Hera tell them this? Maybe they got internet or a modern dictionary?
Well obviously they know stuff about the modern world. Diana could speak Dutch fluently, not Old Dutch either, but modern Dutch. So they do get information or else she wouldn't have known that. This would include slang.

Tooth Fairy (2010)
Plot hole: Obviously, tooth fairies are real, in this movie at least. During the movie, Derek has to retrieve each child's tooth and put money under the pillow. He's paged as soon as the kid loses the tooth, since he often has to wait till the kid goes to bed before intervening, and he is required to do it as soon as possible. But parents are doing the same, and at one point in the movie Derek actually stops a dad that just did the swap and extorts the tooth from him. That of course creates a parodox: the majority of parents in the world apparently have been subjected for centuries to the freak occurrence of finding already under their pillows mysterious money and their children's baby teeth missing as they go do the deed themselves. You can't have both the fairy and the parent do the same task.

Suggested correction: This is part of the suspension of disbelief for holiday movies like this. Doing this means you would have to apply the exact same logic to every Christmas movie depicting Santa as real leaving presents for children when the parents would just see gifts appear they didn't leave behind.
I thought the same, but the thing is, it's all left to the imagination, for instance you can assume there's some "magic" that makes the parents forget everything and just assume they bought the gifts themselves even if they did not. If they meet Santa, it's considered a special deal, and its consequences are not shown, so it all stops here. Not here, here there are specific magic devices (a magic dust of forgetfulness exactly to erase memory of what happened, for instance) that in this encounter is not used by The Rock. So this movie is awfully specific about the interaction between the magical agents and whatnot, to the point that they need to erase their traces and not be spotted, but those rules don't make internal sense. Had they said nothing about it, I would have just assumed it was like every Santa movie as you mentioned, where it is not presented by the movie itself as an issue with contradictory solutions.

Corrected entry: Whenever a character comes home at night to their house or apartment, every single light has been left on.
Correction: I wouldn't really call this a mistake. Especially depending on the area they live. Often times people leave their lights on when they are away to make it appear that people are still home so it's less likely they get broken into and robbed.
Agreed. My family frequently left lights and/or the TV on when we were away when I was growing up.
Yes, leaving lights on in your home when you're away is normal, but it seems that every single light in every room is a common occurrence in movies and TV shows.
Could you give some examples? I don't remember ever seeing this happen. It certainly doesn't happen every time.
Corrected entry: Given that the Foot were watching Professor Perry carefully it's highly impossible he could've changed the mutagen up to ensure low intelligence for Tokka and Rahzar without them noticing.
Correction: How so? Even if they were watching every move he made with a microscope, it's not like they would have the knowledge to understand what he's doing to the formula at any given time. If you don't understand computers, and you watch someone working on a program, you'd have no idea if they are coding a word document to have new fonts or making a virus to fry your computer.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016)
Corrected entry: The previous movie saw Shredder have a lot of Foot ninjas, maybe over a 100 or more. Here it seems to have shrunk to maybe only a dozen such as having only one helping Karai guard the teleportation device.
Correction: And how exactly is this a mistake? He was defeated at the end of the first film and his organization taken down. Not hard to believe that most of the Foot were taken out or arrested and this is just what he has left, or are new recruits.
When? Like most of those Foot the Turtles encountered at Sachs Tower stayed there to be arrested? They weren't locked in by the Turtles.
Even if not all arrested, this is the clan we are talking about. This incarnation of the Foot Clan doesn't exactly work on the honor system. Their leader was gone. This would leave a power vacuum in the ranks. And in fear for themselves, perhaps most of the clan moved on and fled. Many possibilities for this.

Correction: Kurt worked with Peter and Peter's girlfriend interns with him. It's hardly shocking that he might know where he lives and what school he attends.

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Corrected entry: Contrary to what happens in the movie, commanders wouldn't have sent an army unit into enemy territory to save a single soldier. Some cities were still occupied, and heavily guarded by German military forces at the time in which the movie takes place, and commanders would have thought it would be too risky to send an army unit into enemy territory to save a single soldier. Instead, they would have had put the word out among troops to try to find private Ryan as they found each other after the air-drop out errors, and advanced inland.
Correction: This is not meant to be a true story based on true events. Only it's set around the events of D-Day and after. This is a fictional idea made into a story for heroics and therefore isn't a factual error. Artistic licences are taken into situations like this all the time in movies. If this was meant to be based on a true story, then this would be a factual error, but it's fantasy.
Not only would commanders not have sent into a unit into enemy territory to save one soldier, I don't believe it would make sense to send such a mission given the manpower, and resources that would be needed for such a mission.
This can be a factual error whether the movie is based on a true story or not. There are tons of fantasy films with factual errors.
The main thing is that it's a story and a movie, not a documentary. You are supposed to go with the drama. It is not a mistake if they do it intentionally (may be categorized into a "deliberate mistake" though). It is a fine line, but in this movie it's pretty obvious.

Plot hole: On the first level when the giant truck comes out and tries to run Sonic down, if Sonic slows down, the truck slows down too, even to a crawl while still chasing Sonic. But its mission is to hit and flatten Sonic. No reason to have it slow down because the player does.

Revealing mistake: Towards the beginning, you find a VHS tape upstairs in the house. Putting it in the VCR plays the tape, but allows you to see the video through he camera man's perspective, by playing as him during the recording. If you press the control button to block, you see the camera man's hands, both arms, come up to block. However the camera he's recording with stays in place. It's a camera that uses VHS so it wouldn't be strapped to his head. He should drop the camera if he lifts both hands like that, but is putting them in front of the camera.

Suggested correction: It's possible it was a non-VHS camera that was transferred to a VHS.
That would make no sense considering the context and situation. This is a 'haunted house' and with this being a Resident Evil game which is a time line set where the end of the world happened in the mid 90's when VHS was still in wide spread use.
Clearly a mistake. For example why would you record something and then transfer it to outdated technology?

Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Corrected entry: One of the big sources of tension in the heist is the fact that they supposedly have a limited number of Pym particles, as stated by Scott Lang. So after the test run they only have enough for everyone to take one round trip through time. Cap and Tony use their return supply to go to 1970, which is why they needed to steal more particles to get back. However, Ant-Man's shrinking tech is also based on the Pym particles, and his shrinking suit seems to work without restriction in 2012. They also have enough to both shrink the Benetar in 2023 and re-grow it in 2014. So either Scott is mistaken about how many Pym particles he has, or he is lying about them. And before someone says they calculated the number of particles it would take for the shrinking during the mission before assigning them to the team members, Scott discusses the limited supply before they had any plan of what they were going to do in the past.
Correction: Shrinking for those more common actions would not eat up as many Pym particles as say, shrinking enough to go sub atomic, as well as controlling where you're going and doing time travel.
This was addressed in the post. Scott calculated all the Pym particles he had on hand and said there was enough for 1 round trip each and 2 tests. Not '1 round trip, 2 tests and an indeterminate amount of shrinking during the mission which we haven't planned yet.' Plus, he uses a whole vial in mistakenly shrinking before the test, after which he says there's enough for 1 test, not 2. So, maybe there are enough extra Pym particles to do some shrinking after they plan the mission, but this is never brought up and would seem to contradict what Scott has already said about it and what we see onscreen about how many Pym particles it takes just to shrink (though the shrinking tech has never really been consistently portrayed in any of the films featuring it). So, a justification for one perceived mistake just raises a question somewhere else. There's just something off about how the film conveys the circumstances of using the Pym particles, however it is parsed.
Thanos has access to technology centuries beyond Earth. It's definitely possible his crew of henchmen were able to replicate the particles.
To add to Quantom X's correction: Thanos' men reverse engineered the Pym particles to allow evil Nebula to return with the others and pull the ship through the timestream. Remember it can take as long as they want to reverse engineer it before sending evil Nebula back, nobody would notice. There were never any more particles used than what Scott had available. Either more were obtained (from Pym himself in 1970's), or more made (by Thanos' men). I agree with the original correction that the small size shrinking obviously doesn't use up as much particles as the subatomic shrinking does and that's why he could do it.
The shrinking tech for Scott and the shrinking tech for objects are two different things, remember he has those red and blue discs that shrink and grow things and he uses the vial in the suit.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)
Corrected entry: Khan has the ultimate weapon on his ship. Certainly Kirk must have known he would use it. Why not destroy the Reliant before Khan got the chance to destroy both ships?
Correction: Far too much speculation on this. Kirk was under stress of the situation and they also just inflicted heavy damage to the Reliant's bridge. As you saw, Khan was almost dead from that, and moments after activating the Genesis he in fact did die from his wounds before it detonated. Kirk didn't know that Khan survived the attack. And not guessing that Khan might use the device is just an error in human judgment. Not a mistake, and not really stupidity either.
Well, they had to have a way of killing off and bringing back Spock, and as plots go, coming back by the use of the Genesis planet, was not a bad idea. But given Khan's homicidal tendencies from the Original Series, and how other enemies, such as the Romulans would blow up their ships, it would seem prudent to put as much space as possible between ships, and being unable to do so, remove the threat altogether.
Which is exactly what they did. The Enterprise was badly damaged, and Khan was out for blood. The reason they didn't jump to warp speed sooner was the system was damaged with Scotty working to try and fix it. They went into the cloud to level the playing field between the two ships and for Kirk to be able to outsmart Khan and get the upper hand. Khan was not going to stop until he saw Kirk and his ship destroyed, and the Enterprise had no way of escape before they would be destroyed. Once they were able to get the literal drop on the reliant in that nebula, Kirk himself had a moment of pride staying there to show off to Khan that he won, that he had best him. That and to survey if they did actually defeat the Reliant or would it start going after them again. By this time, Scotty was then close to finishing the repairs on the warp drive, and they then detected that Khan activated the device. Kirk was full of adrenaline and rivalry with Khan. How they handled the situation and only turning to run when their sensors picked up the Genesis being activated, was human. Was natural. And lucky for them, Scotty was then able to get the warp drive fixed. But before that point, it wasn't fixed, so they had no reason to even try to put distance between them and a ship that could easily overtake and destroy them.
Correction: Kirk underestimated how nuts Khan had become and didn't anticipate that he would destroy himself and what's left of his own people out of spite. Kirk arrogantly thought he still understood Khan's motivations. Note he dismissively cuts off Terrell with "I know what he blames me for" when he tries to explain, but Kirk doesn't even know what happened to Ceti Alpha V and what Khan had been through, and because of this he leaves himself wide open for Khan's final move.

Corrected entry: Certainly there must be some regulation about how to deal with personnel who have been under the control of the enemy. So unnecessary for Terell to have died and Khan to have discovered the location of Genesis, not to mention the death of another scientist.
Correction: I fail to see what you mean here. Kirk and crew didn't know Chekov or Captain Terell had the Ceti Eel's inside their heads until it was too late. And Terell turned the weapon on himself and took his own life in order to resist the Ceti eel making him shoot his allies. And also, by what you said, you expect a Scientific Military operation like Star Fleet to have regulations about how to handle people under mind control?
Chekov told them they put "creatures" into their bodies to control them. That should have been enough to convince them they could still be under the influence of their previous captor, Khan. But, then if Khan did not find Genesis, that would have changed the whole storyline.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
Factual error: When Kirk falls off El Capitan, he is shown falling all the way past the tops of the trees. I have been to Yosemite and the trees are tall, but not tall enough to give Spock enough time to slow then stop Kirk's fall.

By the time Kirk reaches the top of the trees, he is traveling at terminal velocity (assuming Kirk was halfway up, about 2000 feet from the ground, and an initial fall rate of 32 feet per second, per second), approximately 120 mph, about 200 feet per second. If the trees were 1000 feet tall and Spock caught Kirk right at the top of the trees, that would give him 5 seconds to slow down and stop Kirk. Impossible. Fortunately, in the movie he was able to accomplish this feat, or it would have been a very short movie. :).
