Continuity mistake: When Sue is holding up the book for Dick Clark, her right hand is on the bottom of the book on the spine side, and her left hand is in the upper right corner. When the shot changes, her right hand is suddenly closer to the top-left corner.(00:02:18)
The Columbian: I hear you're looking to, uh, liquidate. Dick: Uh huh.
The Columbian: That's good, 'cause I'm looking to acquire. Sally: Listen here lady, we're not giving these away. We're looking for top dollar.
The Columbian: Oh, I got top dollar. I got better than top dollar. Dick: Well then by default, wouldn't that become top dollar?
Jeff: It's an ancient Ukranian quilting thimble. There's some writing on the outside. I didn't have time to get it translated. Mary: Well, you've been so busy with the book. Dick: Oh uh, speaking of time, don't you have a meeting?
Jeff: Right. I gotta go. Bye. Mary: I'm gonna have to find someone who can translate Ukranian. Dick: Oh, that's not Ukranian, it's Turkish. Look, there's a diacritical mark over the "O." [Reads in Turkish.] Mary: Well, what does it mean? Dick: "May these always point me toward the spoils of war." This isn't a thimble, it's Turkish nipple armor.
Deliberate mistake: Throughout the first part of the movie, Tarzan and all the other animals are speaking to each other in English. After Tarzan meets Jane, he has trouble communicating with her and later shows her that he communicates with the gorillas using grunts. This means that the earlier communication between Tarzan and the animals was done for the benefit of the audience. However, with this being the case, Tarzan shouldn't have been able to tell Jane his name, since the gorillas communicate with him in grunts, they would have had no way of vocalizing a name for him that could translate into a human language. At least not until Tarzan and another human could agree on what his name should translate to.
Revealing mistake: When Shawn unmasks the killer and it is revealed to be himself, you can see that the body double that does the unmasking has sideburns and extra scruff on the back of his neck, making him noticeably distinct from Shawn.(00:18:17)
Continuity mistake: After Eric rips the receiver and cable off the pay phone, at first he is holding the receiver in his right hand and the cable in the left. A couple of shots later, the receiver and cable have swapped hands.(00:15:15)
Trivia: Eric makes two references to South Park in this episode. When he first greets everyone in detention, he says "Hidee ho" in the same manner as Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo. Later after everyone discovers Kenny has been killed, he screams "Oh my gosh, they killed Kenny!"
Continuity mistake: When Shawn is grilling Kenny about asking to borrow Topanga's pencil, sometimes there is a female student sitting directly behind Angela with an open book on her desk, and other times the desk is unoccupied altogether.(00:00:21 - 00:02:40)
Question: 1. How did Hook travel to London to kidnap Peter's children? 2. How is it Hook can know with certainty who Peter's kids are, but he doesn't know that Peter Banning is supposed to be Peter Pan? Wouldn't he have to have been following or spying on the family for some time know who the kids are in the first place? 3. How is Hook not able to find where the Lost Boys are hiding when Neverland is a single island?
Answer:1) Though it is never fully explained, the mystical way Peter Pan would come and go from Never land. 2) It was Smee who was doing the spying. When Hook asked Smee, "This can't be my great and worthy foe?" Smee replied, "I have all the information here." He had a file of paper work on Peter. 3) Hook knew where the Lost Boys were, When Peter asked, what happened to the Never Tree. Tinkerbell said, "Hook burned it when you didn't come back." He considered the Lost Boys not worth the effort. It was Peter, he wanted.
Topanga: Look, none of us is the killer. There has to be somebody else in here and there has to be another way out. Somebody has to find a way out.
Eric: Fine, I'll do it. I'm the oldest.
Jack: Actually, I'm the oldest.
Eric: Yeah, but I've lived the longest.
Mr. Feeny: Now listen, this class will not be more interested in the romantic goings on of its students than it is with whatever the hell I'm teaching!
Continuity mistake: When Eric is saying "You think I should be a teacher," Mr. Feeny has his hands on his hips. When the shot changes, his arms are down by his sides.(00:15:42)
Other mistake: Throughout the episode, characters make reference to Mark's Grandma having a wooden leg, including the woman herself. However, both of her legs are visible from the knee down several times in the episode, and you can see both of them are flesh and bone.
Continuity mistake: Vanessa tells Mark that she and Robin voted on a new rule that there is no playing basketball after 10:00 PM. Mark immediately goes upstairs to protest, and when he walks into the bathroom, Vanessa has a towel wrapped around her head and a purple masque on her face, with not nearly enough time to have put them there.
Revealing mistake: When Topanga is picking up the letter off the ground, you can tell the snow isn't real because it doesn't behave like real snow and run together when she scrapes the letter against it. It looks more like shredded paper being swept aside.(00:20:38)
Continuity mistake: When Cory is saying to Lauren "Well, today I guess you're stuck with me," he slightly raises his left hand and then sets it back down on his left knee. When the shot changes, his left hand is suddenly resting on the couch cushion between his legs.(00:05:03)
Factual error: When Shawn and all the other contestants - as well as the radio DJs and onlookers - are standing out in the cold for a chance to win Super Bowl tickets, no-one's breath is visible, nor are any parts of their faces red.
