Continuity mistake: After Sophie got into bed (with her arms under the blanket), the first and last shots showed her long curly hair sprawled over her left chest area. In-between shots showed her hair hanging along the side of her left shoulder. (00:24:30)
Continuity mistake: Francis pistol-whipped Leonard and - although there initially was no red mark - a red mark could be seen when Leonard attended to Richie's wound. Not long afterwards, the red mark was gone (but should have still been there). (00:21:35 - 00:35:06)
Continuity mistake: When the waiter puts Lily's "Cleopatra Special" plate in front of her, the long, white, curved ingredients (bean sprouts?) stick upward across her plate, but none are visible or sticking out in alternating views of her plate. (00:08:30)
Continuity mistake: The amount of snow accumulated on the chalet's wraparound porch railing was higher when looking outside compared to external views, such as when Emily was outside talking on the phone with Becca. (00:13:35 - 00:15:05)
Deliberate mistake: Considering the position of the surveillance camera (height and angle - almost parallel to the side of the building as well as to the sidewalk), plus the lens being indented within the outer frame, it would not have been able to capture a view of Redd on the sidewalk below like it did. (00:24:40)
Factual error: Doctor Key tells Mary, "If you pose a threat to those around you, we will be forced to keep you here [hospital] longer. That means your son will be placed in foster care." Family members, such as the grandmother and uncle currently taking care of Tony, are preferred before placement in foster care. Foster care is usually considered among the last resorts, not first, and only when there are no suitable family members or significant others to provide temporary care for a minor. [SPOILER: It isn't known that the grandmother and uncle aren't biological relatives.] (00:29:15)
Continuity mistake: The placement and angle of the "Not Friendly" sign on the dead security guard's upper right body changes from when Elvis is looking at him down the hall to when Elvis is kneeling next to his body. Initially, the words are perpendicular to the guard's right leg (angled outward to the right), then to the top of his right shoulder. (00:44:45 - 00:45:19)
Character mistake: Laura is on the floor, screaming and exhibiting bizarre behaviour, so Dr. Rose Cotter goes to the wall phone to call for help. Instead of maintaining observation and continuing an evaluation of Laura, the psychiatrist faces the wall while making the call and even stares at the wall for a couple of seconds after hanging up. A patient's body language can/do help make a diagnosis, so the psychiatrist should keep her eyes on Laura. (00:11:20)
Continuity mistake: The angle (from diagonal to more horizontal) and appearance (from bloody and jagged to a continuous thin line) of the cut on Zoe's forehead changed within a short amount of time. (00:47:16 - 00:47:43)
Deliberate mistake: "Mama's Home Cooking" - a wood frame building in 1850 - was on fire in multiple spots (though not yet engulfed). The townsfolk lined up to pass a bucket of water to douse the flames, which would be futile given how involved the fires were, but they were able to extinguish the fires and the wood frame building was largely intact and the boards did not look charred. The building should have been smoldering hot for some time, but Angel was able to sift through the rubble to salvage some items. (01:45:58 - 01:46:56)
Continuity mistake: Dan and Allen were close together when they were talking on the dirt road. Based on how far Allen threw the blindfold toward Dan's feet, Dan's feet/boots should have been visible. The blindfold was close to Dan's feet in the wider shot. (00:15:13)
Continuity mistake: Although Adeline has her mouth to the ground (eating grass), her head is suddenly upright and still in a few views of Kay or Terry. The most noticeable sudden change in Adeline's head being upright occurs right after Adam hugs her. (00:34:34 - 00:35:00)
Continuity mistake: Solomon put the rope around his waist underneath his coat, but when he was walking through the woods the rope was tied over his coat. Also, the knot would start out in the front of his left side but change to behind his back even though the rope was loose (not taut) behind him. (00:01:55 - 00:02:26)
Plot hole: After sending the offensive message to his students, Charlie got on-line with them (within hours or the same day?) and said, "Well, your complaints have been heard. I've been replaced..." IF an on-line college instructor could be terminated and replaced as quickly as Charlie was, it would follow that he would no longer be able to access the on-line course to communicate with the students like he did. (01:39:55)
Suggested correction: I think this is based on too much assumption. Any sort-of ban would likely be entire dependent on whatever system they're using for their online class. And it's entirely plausible he'd still be able to access his account mere hours later, even if the call has already been made to replace him.
I worked for the Defence department in Australia and it was a running gag that eighteen months after I had left my online access to my account was still open, allowing me access to highly classified documentation, including emails. Mistakes happen.
Continuity mistake: Ava sees the stack of mail on the table. She sweeps her hand (fingertips and envelopes are off-screen), as she slides the top envelope closer. Ava picks up the top envelope, as if her hand sweep does not move any of the envelopes (and serves no purpose). (00:05:48)
Factual error: The tank used by the German platoon is a Soviet T54/55, which didn't come into service until 1948, after the Lapland War had ended.
Continuity mistake: Jenna takes one red cup from the 3 stacked next to the higher stack and returns the two cups to her left (and left of the higher stack). Jenna uses her left hand, supported by her right, to handle the bottle of wine, but the 2 cups disappear after she sets the bottle on the table. (00:19:50 - 00:20:14)
Factual error: The movie is set in the Northern Great Plains of the United States, and the tribe is identified as Comanche, but the Comanche were located in the Southern Great Plains, across present-day northwestern Texas, eastern New Mexico, southeastern Colorado, southwestern Kansas, and western Oklahoma.
Continuity mistake: ,After Cam sprays Will and Danny with the fire extinguisher, the amount and locations of foam/chemical powder on Danny, in particular, changes a few times, even covering a much larger area of his face/clothes and being thicker after he got out of the ambulance. Will was sprayed first and longer, but his face/clothes looked practically spotless. The interior of the ambulance did not show signs of a fire extinguisher having been recently sprayed. (00:46:29 - 00:47:13)
Plot hole: Private prisons try to maximize profits and minimizing costs. They can accept or reject any potential inmates and are notorious for accepting only non-violent, low-risk offenders who are easier to house and require less security (reducing costs). Degnan Correctional Institute had many heavily armed guards. Bones pointed out to Savage some of the gangs that were there: the Mexican Mob, Dragon Nation, Aryan Brotherhood and Black Mafia - most likely to be rejected by private for-profit prisons. (00:31:45)
