Continuity mistake: In the first scene with Kaylani, she puts her hands on Peter's face (her hand also disappears from his shoulder briskly during a cut, incidentally). Between shots you can easily spot how her fingers are placed differently each time, in particular the index finger is on or behind the ear. (00:04:40)
Continuity mistake: With awkward timing that brings the table conversation to a screeching halt, Thomas says that "New York lost its soul." The woman next to him was having a glass of wine, but it is down on the table in the next shot. George also has his glass raised (we see it in foreground when Thomas explains himself) but it's on the table in the wider angle. (00:11:20)
Continuity mistake: Michael sets foot into the church and meets Pastor John Soul. John has a clipboard in his left hand, as well as his glasses, as he says "But the doors of this church are always open to you." He opens his arms and the glasses are in the left hand. Continuity mistake: Alison is saying goodbye to her parents and she is wearing a long kimono. As she walks into her bedroom she is no longer wearing it, and then picks it up off her bed and puts it on. (01:07:05)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, different camera views show the levels of ketchup in the bottle are not properly coordinated after Del or Charley squeeze some out. The ketchup from inside the bottle has settled when the camera faces Charley but not when facing Del. Because they are "out of sync" depending on the camera's direction, the bottle may look fuller after some is squeezed out. (00:24:31 - 00:25:09)
Continuity mistake: When he tries cooking by himself, he leaves a pan on the stove and goes to sit on the couch. At some point while on the couch the pan is no longer on the stove and when he runs to it after the fire alarm goes off it is still gone. Continuity mistake: Charlie was standing in the hole he dug and his head was below ground-level, but when Eliza was talking to him, Charlie's head was above-ground. Half of Charlie's back was above-ground when his mother [Toni Collette] was outside. Front views of Charlie standing in the hole still showed him against dirt (head below surface-level) even after he was just shown with his head above-ground. (00:51:10 - 00:51:46)
Continuity mistake: Olivia is introducing her intended design, but left out of the heirloom throw pillows her client is fussing about. During the scene, in close-up (when the client asks to talk to her boss) her hair is all the way back behind her shoulders, but she has loose hair all over her blazer's collar in the remaining shots. Continuity mistake: When the vault is about to be opened, the drilling equipment is attached to the door, but the view from the camera watching the door being opened shows no equipment.
Continuity mistake: When Saul and "Nookmis" (his grandmother Naomi) leave on the canoe, there are several blankets/rolls of food between them. The pile reaches to about Saul's waist in the canoe. When Saul and Naomi continue their canoe trip the following morning, the pile of blankets/rolls between them is higher (almost to Saul's shoulders) and the colors/sizes look different (larger, even though they obviously ate some food). Continuity mistake: Izzy gets out of the car of her one night stand and lights up a cigarette. She begins to type on her phone, phone in the left, cig in the right. A jogger bumps her and in the next shot she coughs on purpose to try and make her put the cigarette out. From now on, Izzy's phone is in her right hand and her cigarette in her left hand. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: Kate at the beginning of the movie asks Demerius, the kid who is reading a manga, to read some of it loudly for the whole class. When she addresses him first, the book on his desk changes position between shots, repeatedly. (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: When Christopher Robin first appears in uniform he is wearing second lieutenant's pips. In the following scene, later the same day, they have disappeared, but he is still wearing an open-necked officer's battledress tunic with shirt and tie. He says he is a private. In fact, he joined the Royal Engineers as a sapper (not a private) and was later commissioned.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Cass is blackmailing Mira about the true nature of her little trip. She calls Liam up; during the scene, she is holding the hanger in a different way between shots (left hand on the hook, or under it). (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: The glass bowl of spaghetti is filled within about 2" from the top, but the mound in the center almost reaches the rim when Janice carries it to the table. After Tim serves at least 1 cup servings onto 4 plates, the bowl looks just as full as it is when Edwin leaves the table. (00:14:27 - 00:16:17)
Continuity mistake: Mario Pitagora is sipping ice tea in the garden, and then starts explaining to his "son" the nature of his business. His hand changes position on the glass repeatedly between shots, on the rim or lower. (00:27:10)
Continuity mistake: Priscila carries Helen's bag while she gets her seat. She gives her the bag using her left, while she keeps her own in her right hand. Cut, and Pauline Collins is turning around passing her bag from the left hand to the right. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: On the desk, Mr. Kurrup hits a big red button that keeps the boys locked in his office after they try to walk out. In the shot before, there is no button on the desk.
Continuity mistake: In the first episode, the cold Federico is shaken by the first approach with the bookstore owner Giulia. When he comes back inside the store, the woman is leaning against the corner of table when the camera is in front of her, she isn't in the shots from the back of the store. (00:04:30)
