Eyes of Crystal (2004) ending / spoiler
The college professor is the killer. Detective Amaldi heads to the abandoned, burned down school and saves Giuditta right in the nick of time before the killer completes his "doll" with the missing piece: Giuditta's upper torso. Giuditta kills the professor/killer.
