Welcome to Mooseport (2004) ending / spoiler
Hackman wins the election outright by 1 vote, but says that he broke his promise of voting for Romano, so he hands the election to Romano. Romano says the same thing, and hands the election back over to Hackman. So Hackman accepts. Romano proposes to Tierney, and admits that he did in fact vote for Hackman like he said, therefore he won the election fair and square, but decided that Hackman needed it more. Hackman ends up with Harden. Hackman's campaign manager asks Romano if he would consider running for governor, to which Romano considers.
