City of Angels (1998) plot summary
Seth is an angel who falls in love with a surgeon, Maggie. She doesn't believe in angels but can see Seth and they become friends. She eventually believes he is an angel and thet fall in love - Seth must make the choice to give up all of eternity to become human and really "love" Maggie.
