Waiting for Guffman plot summary
Actor/writer/director Corky St Clair has moved from NY to the small town of Blaine, Missouri and written an epic masterpiece called "Red,white and Blaine" for the celebrations marking the sesquicentennial anniversary (that's the 150) of the founding of Blaine.
The amateur cast includes a dentist, two travel agents, a car mechanic and a fast food chain employee who all dream of fame and fortune. Corky writes to various producers and Mr. Mort Guffman will come to the one and only performance and decide whether it will make it to Broadway.
