The Eagle Has Landed (1976) ending / spoiler
A young boy falls into the stream by the mill. One of the Germans jumps in to rescue him but is killed in the waterwheel. His uniform is torn apart revealing his German uniform underneath. The Germans battle from the church against American troops while Michael Caine sneaks out. He kills Churchill before being killed himself. 'Churchill' is really a stunt double. Everyone else gets killed except Donald Sutherland.
